The Opportunity
As a Business Development Associate, you will be responsible for identifying and engaging internationally based professionals and high-net-worth individuals, introducing the firm's wealth management services and arranging appointments for experienced advisers.
This is a consultative business development role where your success will directly contribute to your future progression into an advisory career.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify prospective international clients.
- Develop new business opportunities through telephone, email and LinkedIn outreach.
- Introduce prospective clients to the firm's wealth management services.
- Qualify opportunities and schedule appointments for Private Wealth Advisers.
- Build and maintain long-term professional relationships.
- Work towards individual business development targets.
- Study towards the CISI Level 4 Investment Advice Diploma, fully sponsored by the company.
About You
We're looking for motivated individuals who possess:
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive and commercially minded approach.
- Experience within sales, recruitment, business development or another target-driven environment (preferred).
- Confidence speaking with senior professionals and high-net-worth individuals.
- Strong research skills and experience using LinkedIn and other professional networking platforms.
- An interest in financial markets, investing and wealth management.
- The ambition to develop into a qualified financial adviser.
