In this role, you will scale the function to support the growth of the business and to bring best practices to the management of $100M in annual Direct & Indirect purchases. We are looking for like-minded individuals to join our team today!\nSpecific job responsibilities include:\nLead and scale the procurement function (Direct and Indirect) to support the rapid growth of the business, in a manner that maximizes contribution to the achievement of business objectives, profitability and return on investment.\nImplement best practices from standard category management, and innovative approaches, to identify and execute opportunities to drive cross-company savings and operational improvements in category management.\nWork as a strategic business partner to develop and prioritize procurement change programs and projects to enable delivery of short- and long-term objectives.\nWork with other functional leaders across finance, IT and manufacturing to drive short- and long-term improvements in the P2P process, including automation, selective outsourcing and/or leveraging strategic alliances to maximize ROI.\nDevelop risk management strategies to mitigate supply chain disruptions, ensuring quality and regulatory compliance.\nOversee the indirect purchasing team to ensure superior customer service offered to internal users on purchasing requests.\nDevelop standard inventory planning model, achieve and maintain inventory targets.\nLead, mentor, and develop a high performing Procurement team to support manufacturing and corporate goals.\nDevelop relationship with key suppliers and manage supplier performances.\nAbout you:\nAction orientation, ability to thrive in a fast paced, rapidly changing, collaborative environment.\nBachelor's Degree and minimum 10 years of experience in procurement operations and strategic sourcing\nMedical Device, Pharma, or Biotech experience (7+ years); thorough understanding of ISO 13485 and FDA regulations.\nPrior experience in developing and implementing category strategies and sourcing efforts for indirect procurement areas such as IT, capex, marketing, facilities, and services required.\nPrior experience in contributing to automation and / or process improvement in the P2P process of a rapidly growing company preferred.\nEffective communicator with ability to influence at all levels.\nStrong analytical skills, and the ability to drive effective analysis and process steps toward transformations and or landing key projects.\nComprehensive knowledge on contract commercial terms and ability to lead supply agreement negotiations independently.\nAbility to operate in a fast-paced environment and juggle shifting priorities and tight timelines.\nWhat’s in it for you:\nThis is a regular full-time position with competitive compensation package, excellent benefits including\nmedical, dental, and vision insurances (all of which start on your first day), health savings account employer\ncontributions (when enrolled in high deductible medical plan), cafeteria plan pre-taxed benefits (FSA,\ndependent care FSA, commute reimbursement accounts), travel reimbursement for medical care,\nnoncontributory basic life insurance & short/ long term disability.
