In this role, you will ensure the accurate, compliant, and efficient flow of materials through the warehouse while supporting inventory accuracy, government-regulated property control activities, and daily warehouse operations. You'll bring strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and a proactive, organized approach to supporting a fast-paced logistics environment.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nEnsure compliance with company procedures, regulatory requirements, and government property control standards.\nReceive and verify incoming materials by comparing purchase orders, packing lists, and delivered goods, documenting discrepancies or damaged items.\nMaintain accurate inventory through cycle counts, reconciliations, Kanban replenishment, inventory control activities, and property documentation.\nCoordinate domestic and international shipping activities while maintaining complete logistics and inventory records.\nPrepare for and participate in internal and external audits involving government-owned assets and inventory compliance.\nSupport multiple warehouse functions based on operational priorities, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, shipping, kitting, equipment testing, upgrades, and repackaging.\nSafely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to move inventory and materials.\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment while adhering to OSHA and company safety standards.\nCollaborate with the Warehouse Supervisor and cross-functional teams to resolve inventory shortages, material issues, and operational challenges.\nIdentify operational issues and recommend or implement process improvements, new tools, and system enhancements that improve warehouse efficiency and inventory accuracy.\nWhat You’ll Need to Succeed:\n4+ years’ experience working in Supply Chain/Logistics or related field OR equivalent relevant experience in lieu of degree\nExperience supporting government property compliance, contract requirements, and audit activities\nWorking knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems, and Microsoft SharePoint\nPossess and maintain certification for Transportation of Dangerous Goods by Air\nAn active forklift certification or ability to obtain through on-the-job certification\nExperience with:Shipping and receiving procedures in a large warehouse or manufacturing facility\nMaterial control and purchase ordering systems\nERP system/material planning systems\nSubstantial knowledge of OSHA regulations\n\nWorking knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) or similar ERP systems\nCommitment to safety standards and regulatory guidelines\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook\nStrong organization skills and attention to detail with the ability to prioritize responsibilities\nAbility to cultivate meaningful relationships with others and accept feedback to continuously improve\nSkilled at collaborating across multiple teams and departments\nCapable of exercising sound judgment and discretion when problem solving\nThings That Would be Great if You Brought to the Table:\nKnowledge of 5S Management principles\nAPICS Certification\nKnowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations\nWe’ll also need you to:\nThis role requires access to export-controlled technologies; candidates must qualify as a U.S. Person as defined by U.S. export control laws (ITAR/EAR)\nAbility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Confidential security clearance\nBe able to travel up to 5%\nWork Environment:\nThis position primarily works in an office setting and is largely sedentary with the majority of the position working with a computer.
