We are looking for an experienced Client Pension Team Lead to join our growing Managed Services division and help deliver exceptional pension administration services to our clients.\nThe Role\nThis is a leadership position that combines people management, operational oversight and pensions expertise. You'll be responsible for leading a team delivering Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) administration services, ensuring service levels, quality standards and customer expectations are consistently met.\nWorking closely with the Client Pension Manager, you'll oversee team performance, support new client implementations, manage workload planning and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the function.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead, coach and develop a team of pension administration professionals.\n\nManage departmental KPIs, productivity measures and service level agreements.\n\nSchedule and allocate workloads to ensure efficient service delivery.\n\nMonitor quality standards and identify opportunities for process improvement.\n\nAct as the first point of escalation for client concerns and operational issues.\n\nProduce management reporting and operational performance insights.\n\nSupport recruitment, onboarding and development of new team members.\n\nEnsure accurate and timely pension administration processing.\n\nMaintain strong understanding of pension legislation and industry developments.\n\nSupport LGPS end-of-year activities and client service meetings.\n\nAbout You\nWe're looking for an experienced pensions professional with a passion for leadership and customer service.\nYou'll bring:\n3-5 years' pension administration experience ideally within an Education environment.\n\nStrong knowledge of pension legislation and pension processes, LGPS highly advantageous.\n\nExperience leading, coaching or mentoring colleagues.\n\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills.\n\nHigh levels of accuracy and attention to detail.\n\nStrong organisational and planning capability.\n\nGood working knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook.\n\nA proactive and solutions-focused approach to problem solving.\n\nWhy IRIS?\nAt IRIS, you'll be joining a market-leading organisation that combines the stability of an established business with the energy of ongoing growth and investment.
