This is a unique opportunity to sit at the intersection of Product, AI, data and operational excellence, helping shape how one of the UK's leading software businesses uses AI to drive smarter decisions, greater efficiency and stronger commercial outcomes.\nThe Opportunity\nThis is not a traditional analyst role.\nYou'll be responsible for turning manual reporting into intelligent, automated insight. Working closely with the Senior Manager, Product Operations, you'll use AI, automation and analytics to improve the tools, processes and reporting that support Product teams across IRIS's Accountancy, Payroll, HCM and Education divisions.\nYou'll help answer critical business questions including:\nAre our product investments generating the outcomes we expected?\n\nAre customers adopting new capabilities?\n\nWhere should we continue investing, and where should we stop?\n\nHow can AI remove operational friction across Product teams?\n\nHow do we create a single trusted source of truth for reporting and decision-making?\n\nWhat You'll Be Doing\nAs our Product Operations AI Analyst, you'll:\nDrive Product Analytics & Decision Support\nBuild and maintain trusted reporting across Product, Commercial, Finance and Leadership teams.\n\nAnalyse product telemetry, customer feedback, roadmap delivery data and commercial performance to generate actionable insights.\n\nDevelop dashboards and reporting that support portfolio reviews, roadmap planning and business decision-making.\n\nMeasure whether product investments are delivering their intended outcomes.\n\nLead AI & Automation Initiatives\nIdentify opportunities to deploy AI tools that improve Product team productivity.\n\nBuild reusable AI workflows, prompts and automations.\n\nCreate low-code and no-code automations that eliminate manual effort.\n\nDevelop AI-powered solutions for reporting, process management and operational workflows.\n\nHelp establish self-service AI capabilities that scale across the organisation.\n\nGenerate Business Insight\nSynthesise large volumes of qualitative and quantitative data, including customer feedback, support tickets, research findings and commercial information.\n\nCreate insight reports that help product leaders identify emerging trends, opportunities and risks.\n\nSupport OKR tracking, portfolio performance measurement and operational reporting.\n\nPartner Across the Business\nCollaborate with Product, Engineering, Design, Product Marketing, Commercial, Finance, IT and Security teams.\n\nHelp solve operational challenges through data, analytics and automation.\n\nTurn complex information into clear, meaningful insights for stakeholders at all levels.\n\nAbout You\nWe're looking for someone who combines analytical thinking with a genuine enthusiasm for emerging AI technologies.\nYou'll likely have experience in a Product Analyst, Business Analyst, Data Analyst, Product Operations or AI-focused role and be excited by the opportunity to shape how AI is used within a large-scale software organisation.\nYou'll Bring:\nExperience working with data, reporting and business analysis.\n\nStrong analytical skills across both structured and unstructured datasets.\n\nHands-on experience with generative AI tools such as Microsoft 365 Copilot, Claude or ChatGPT.\n\nExperience creating automations and process improvements.\n\nExcellent communication skills and the ability to translate technical concepts into business value.\n\nCuriosity, initiative and a desire to continually learn and experiment with new technologies.\n\nA pragmatic, outcome-focused approach to problem solving.\n\nDesirable Experience\nProduct Operations or Product Management environments.\n\nPower BI, Tableau, Looker or similar BI platforms.\n\nPower Automate, Zapier, n8n or comparable automation platforms.\n\nPython and/or SQL.\n\nJira, Confluence, Aha!, Pendo, Notion or Figma.\n\nExperience supporting OKR tracking or management reporting.\n\nB2B SaaS environments.\n\nWhy Join IRIS?\nIRIS supports over 120,000 customers across the UK and internationally, providing mission-critical software to businesses, schools and organisations.
