Watch it .Job Description\nJob Purpose:\nThe Team Lead - Accounts Payable is responsible for managing end-to-end AP operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, vendor payments, employee reimbursements, and month-end activities. The role involves leading the AP team, driving process improvements, ensuring compliance with company policies, and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.\n\n1.Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in commerce, Finance, or Accounting.\n8 to 10 years of AP experience, including team management.\nStrong knowledge of AP processes, GST/TDS, and ERP systems (Tally & Quick books, etc.).\nAdvanced Excel skills.\n\n2. Key Responsibilities\nSupervise and manage daily Accounts Payable operations.\nReview and approve vendor invoices, employee expense claims, and payment proposals.\nEnsure timely processing of invoices and payments in compliance with company policies.\nMonitor vendor reconciliations and resolve payment-related queries.\nLead month-end and year-end AP closing activities.\nEnsure compliance with statutory, tax, audit, and internal control requirements.\nTrack AP KPIs, aging reports, and payment schedules.\nCoordinate with Procurement, Business Teams, Treasury, and Vendors to resolve issues.\nIdentify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities.\nSupport internal and external audits.\nTrain, mentor, and develop AP team members.\n\nPerks and Benefits for Irisians\nIris provides world-class benefits for a personalized employee experience.
