Watch it .Job Description\nRole Overview\nWe are seeking a hands-on Accounts Payable Manager to lead end-to-end AP operations including PO-/non-PO invoicing, vendor payments, timesheet-based vendor billing validation, debit/credit management, vendor governance, and month-end close. The role drives compliance, process efficiency, team leadership, and stakeholder coordination across multiple geographies.\nKey Responsibilities\nAccounts Payable Operations\nLead daily AP operations: invoice processing, 2-way/3-way match, exceptions, debit/credit notes, GR/IR clearing, and timely payment runs.\nEnsure strong governance on PO compliance, Vendor compliance, and correct routing to approver workflows.\nManage timesheet-based vendor invoices (contractors/consultants): validation against SOW, rate cards, and approved timesheets.\nOversee employee reimbursements and corporate card settlements, ensuring policy alignment.\nOwner of vendor master data: creation, modification, banking validation, tax documentation (1099/W-9/W-8, GST, TDS).\nCompliance & Period Close\nEnsure adherence to:\nIndia: GST, TDS, RCM, vendor GST reconciliation.\nUS: 1099 preparation, vendor tax documentation.\nCanada: GST/HST/PST compliance.\nMaintain ICFR/SOX-like controls, approval matrix, and audit documentation.\nManage month/quarter/year-end close: accruals, AP aging, AP-GL reconciliation, prepayments, DPO tracking.\nStakeholder Management\nWork closely with Procurement, Finance/FP&A, HR/TA, Payroll, Legal, Business Ops.\nHandle escalations for vendors and internal business teams across India/US/Canada.\nProcess Improvements & Automation\nIdentify opportunities to reduce cycle time and exceptions improve first-pass accuracy.\nSupport automation initiatives (OCR, e-invoicing, workflow tools) for invoice intake and approvals.\nPublish and maintain AP dashboards & KPIs (aging, on-time payments, exception rate, PO compliance %, DPO).\nPeople Leadership\nSupervise a team of 5-6 AP professionals: task allocation, performance management, coaching.\nMaintain SOPs, ensure timely SLA compliance, and build cross-skilled backups.\nRequired Qualifications\nM.Com Semi-qualified CA preferred.\n10-12 years of end-to-end Accounts Payable experience with at least 3-5 years leading teams.\nStrong knowledge of AP, PO processing, debit/credit notes, reconciliations, month-end close, and vendor management.\nExperience supporting multi-country operations (India, US, Canada).\nProficient in enterprise ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/NetSuite/MS Dynamics) and AP/T&E tools.\nStrong Excel and exposure to BI tools (Power BI/Tableau preferred).\nNice-to-Have\nExperience in IT industry or professional services environment.\nKnowledge of e‑invoicing (India), 1099 processes (US), HST/GST/PST (Canada).\nExposure to RPA/automation in finance operations.\nKey Competencies\nStrong ownership, accuracy, and process governance.\nEffective stakeholder communication.\nAnalytical thinking and problem-solving.\nTeam leadership and cross-training capability.\nContinuous improvement mindset\nPerks and Benefits for Irisians\nIris provides world-class benefits for a personalized employee experience.
