If so, let's start the conversation.\nIron Mountain is seeking a dedicated Material Handling Equipment Training Manager to join our Warehouse / Operations team.In this role, you’ll play a pivotal part in raising operational standards and driving a culture of safety across our site. By delivering high-quality MHE instruction and rigorous competency assessments, your expertise will directly empower our teams to operate with confidence and precision. Here, your leadership ensures our daily operations remain safe, compliant, and performing at their absolute best.\nWhat You’ll Do (Responsibilities)\nIn this role, you will:\nDesign and deliver comprehensive training: Execute initial, refresher, and conversion courses across all MHE types, including counterbalance, reach trucks, PPTs, and order pickers.\nAssess and authorise operators: Conduct objective competency evaluations, provide constructive coaching, and issue operational licenses aligned with site regulations.\nManage compliance and records: Maintain audit-ready training matrices and proactively schedule timely refresher training in line with RTITB/ITSSAR standards, PUWER, and LOLER.\nDrive safety leadership: Investigate MHE-related incidents or near-misses alongside management, delivering targeted retraining to mitigate future risks and equipment damage.\nOptimise onboarding and skill development: Partner with Shift Leaders and the Operations Manager to identify skills gaps and streamline operator upskilling processes.\nWhat You’ll Bring (Skills & Qualifications)\nThe ideal candidate will have:\nProven experience operating in a fast-paced warehouse or logistics environment with demonstrated MHE instructional delivery.\nStrong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation (HASAWA, PUWER, LOLER), warehouse risk assessments, and safe operating procedures.\nCurrent, valid RTITB or ITSSAR Instructor / Assessor accreditation.\nExceptional communication and coaching skills to effectively mentor diverse operational teams.\nHigh attention to detail and strong organisational skills for accurate compliance record-keeping.\nWhat We Offer (Benefits)\nCompetitive compensation and benefits aligned with experience.\nNumber of days - paid time off/ holidays\nFlexible work options/alternative work options to support work-life balance.\nComprehensive health, wellness, and retirement plans.\nOpportunities for continuous learning and professional growth.\nReady to lead our safety standards and help our teams succeed?
