In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of legal records, ensuring the accuracy, security, and accessibility of critical client data at our customer’s location in Chicago, Illinois.\nWhat You’ll Do\nIn this role, you will:\nManage the comprehensive file lifecycle-including digital creation, high-volume scanning, and daily inventory tracking-to ensure all legal records are accurate and immediately accessible for firm staff.\nCollaborate with legal stakeholders to coordinate seamless file transfers, off-site archiving, and secure shredding processes.\nEnsure compliance with organizational standards and legal industry regulations by performing regular inventory audits and maintaining strict chain-of-custody protocols for all client records.\nWhat You’ll Bring\nThe ideal candidate will have:\n2+ years of experience in an active law firm records management environment, including specific expertise in records keeping.\nStrong knowledge of legal document scanning, digital file organization, and professional archiving standards.\nProven ability to work independently with minimal supervision while thinking strategically to resolve complex logistics or storage challenges\nWhat We Offer\nSalary: $25 per hour\nLocation: On-site at our customer’s location in Chicago, Illinois.\nComprehensive health, wellness, and retirement plans.\nPaid vacation and sick leaves\nOpportunities for continuous learning and professional growth.\nThere is so much more, but enough about us.
