If so, let's start the conversation.\nIron Mountain is seeking an strategic Senior Project Manager (Construction) to join our Data Center Development team.\nIn this role, you’ll have the opportunity to lead the tactical execution of a multi-facility data center development program in Johor, including a critical high-voltage utility substation. Servicing as the primary on-site delivery lead, your expertise will help drive progress, navigate local regulatory landscapes, and directly shape our expanding digital infrastructure footprint in Southeast Asia. Building on our foundation of operational excellence, you will ensure landmark builds cross the finish line safely, on schedule, and within budget.\nWhat You’ll Do\nIn this role, you will:\nLead On-Site Execution: Serve as the primary delivery lead for a large-scale data center program and dedicated utility substation, coordinating matrixed PM, design, and controls teams.\n\nManage GC & Vendor Performance: Direct and monitor a major General Contractor under a D&B Turnkey framework, tracking daily/weekly KPIs and enforcing safety and quality standards.\n\nDrive Utility & Power Coordination: Oversee day-to-day engagement with regional power authorities, specifically tracking connections with Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) to maintain schedule alignment.\n\nControl Budgets & Governance: Manage project financials, oversee change orders, and ensure commercial adherence to internal governance and Delegation of Authority frameworks.\n\nDirect Local Regulatory Engagement: Liaise with Johor municipal councils and agencies (e.g., MIDA) to clear permitting, facilitate inspections, and secure final handovers.\n\nWhat You’ll Bring\nThe ideal candidate will have:\n8+ years of project management experience in large-scale construction, with a proven track record delivering complex infrastructure projects (data center MEP/CSA experience highly preferred).\n\nStrong knowledge of Malaysian or Singaporean construction ecosystems, local supply chains, contractor markets, and labor dynamics.\n\nTechnical mastery in project controls (CPM, earned value, cost tracking) and complex MEP/CSA systems.\n\nPractical experience coordinating utility grid connections or substation builds, ideally with direct TNB process familiarity.\n\nA Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline (PMP or BEM certifications preferred).\n\nFull professional proficiency in English; fluency in regional languages is an advantage for engaging local authorities.\n\n What We Offer\nOn-site location in Johor, Malaysia\n\nCompetitive compensation and benefits aligned with experience.\n\nNumber of days - paid time off/ holidays\n\nFlexible work options/alternative work options to support work-life balance.\n\nComprehensive health, wellness, and retirement plans.\n\nOpportunities for continuous learning and professional growth.\n\nReady to lead landmark infrastructure builds on the ground?
