We design our own wearable hardware, deploy it alongside craft workers, and transform a shift's footage into a next-morning report. Our internal team and purpose-built models label the data overnight and deliver actionable insights to superintendents by 5 AM.\nWe are accelerating the speed, efficiency, and predictability of construction, especially for complex, mission-critical infrastructure projects, including data centers, LNG facilities, sports stadiums, hospitals, and other large-scale developments, by training AI models on egocentric construction footage and labor productivity data. We are built with a pro-worker philosophy at our core: we believe technology should empower the workforce, not replace it. We're working to give craft workers and project leaders better visibility into what's happening on-site, while creating a system where the reality of construction and the chaos of each day is finally available to the people running the project.\nIronsite is deployed across several of the largest active construction projects in the country. To date, we've captured more than 100,000 hours of construction footage across seven states, now process thousands of hours of site activity every day, and maintain a worker opt-out rate below two percent. This is enabled by a workforce-first architecture that anonymizes devices, captures no audio, and never releases raw video.\nIronsite is backed by leading investors (8VC, South Park Commons, Saga Ventures) and prominent operators across technology and construction, including Eric Schmidt, Jeff Dean, Jeff Rothschild, Mark Leslie, Scott Wu, Eric Glyman, Karim Atiyeh, Russell Kaplan, and others, alongside over a dozen construction industry operators who have joined us as partners in building this.\nLonger term, we believe Ironsite is the foundation for what construction becomes in the next decade. We think the systems we're building are the operating system for how the physical world gets built, and will unlock a fundamentally different way of respect for our workforce. One where craft workers are more valued, more visible, and better paid for the skill they bring, and where the industry finally has the intelligence layer that makes autonomous construction possible. Both futures start with the same foundation.\nThe Role\nWe're hiring a Supply Chain Manager (Buyer / Planner) to own manufacturing and demand planning, materials management, and supply chain operations for Ironsite's hardware.\nYou'll be one of the earliest supply chain hires at the company, working directly with our contract manufacturer, hardware and firmware engineering, and operations to make sure Ironsite has the parts, the plans, and the ramp readiness to scale from thousands of devices to hundreds of thousands. This is not a role for someone who wants to inherit a mature ERP system and execute against it. It's a role for someone who wants to build the supply chain function from the ground up in a company that's already earning the right to scale.\nYou'll partner closely with our Global Supply Manager and Manufacturing Engineer to make sure sourcing, manufacturing, and planning are tightly integrated. What you build becomes the foundation the rest of the supply chain organization runs on.\nWhat You'll Build\nManufacturing planning and MRP execution.\nOwn the manufacturing planning process end to end, from demand signal through MO release.\nManage the material requirements planning (MRP) system, ensuring accurate lead times, safety stock, and reorder points for all key materials and components.\nCoordinate closely with product management, engineering, and supply chain to translate demand forecasts into executable production plans.\nPublish and maintain rolling production and demand plans (weekly, monthly, quarterly) that reflect capacity, material availability, and business priorities.\nMaterials management and inventory.\nManage raw material planning, procurement, and inventory levels to support production ramp, service, and repair needs.\nDrive inventory optimization initiatives to minimize excess and obsolete inventory while ensuring supply continuity.\nManage inventory turns, days on hand, and material flow across our internal facilities, CMs, and 3PLs.\nOwn ECR and ECO impact assessments on inventory and material planning. Coordinate implementation across CMs and internal teams.\nProduction operations.\nInterface with contract manufacturers to align production schedules with demand and material availability.\nTrack and drive production KPIs, including on-time delivery, yield, and lead time.\nIdentify and mitigate supply and production risks proactively, escalating decisively when needed.\nSupport new product introduction (NPI) supply planning, including material readiness for prototype builds and ramp planning for volume production.\nSystems and process.\nOwn the ERP (NetSuite or similar) configuration for supply chain operations, including item master data, supplier master data, BOM management, and work order flow.\nBuild and improve reporting on production, inventory, and materials KPIs so leadership always has real-time visibility into supply chain health.\nEstablish and document the supply chain operating cadence (S&OP, MRP reviews, weekly supply meetings) that will scale with the company.\nWhat We're Looking For\nRequired\n5-8+ years of experience in supply chain, manufacturing planning, or operations management at a hardware company that scaled from early production to volume.\nDeep experience with MRP, MPS, and S&OP processes in a manufacturing environment.\nStrong ERP experience (NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, or similar) and demonstrated ability to configure and improve supply chain workflows within those systems.\nHands-on experience managing contract manufacturers and coordinating production plans with overseas partners.\nStrong analytical skills. You're comfortable modeling demand, capacity, and inventory scenarios in spreadsheets or with SQL.\nDetail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to respond quickly to a fast-moving and ever-changing environment.\nAbility to generate clear and concise updates to all levels of internal and external stakeholders, including at the executive level.\nStrongly preferred\nExperience with wearables, consumer electronics, or ruggedized hardware programs.\nPrior experience as an early supply chain hire at a hardware startup that scaled from early volumes to full production. You've been through the zero-to-scale journey and know what breaks first.\nFamiliarity with contract manufacturing partners in Taiwan, mainland China, or Southeast Asia.\nExperience with battery pack and optical subassemblies.\nComfort with international travel to CMs and suppliers as needed.\nNice to have\nProficiency with PLM systems (Arena, Propel, or similar).\nMandarin or Vietnamese language proficiency.\nExperience with 3PL management and logistics network design.\nFamiliarity with lean and continuous improvement methodologies.\nWhat Success Looks Like\nFirst 90 days. You know our full BOM, current supply base, CM operations, and production ramp plan cold. You've stood up a reliable weekly supply and production review cadence, embedded with the team during proto build, and are driving our CTB status for EVT.\nFirst 6 months. You've built and are running our MRP and S&OP processes end to end. You’ve synced into the deployment ops processes and own allocation planning. We are CTB for EVT.\nFirst 12 months. You're the internal authority on how Ironsite plans, procures, and produces. Our supply chain is resilient, scalable, and cost-effective. When we scale to hundreds of thousands of units, we're set up to do it because of the systems and processes you put in place.\nLocation, Compensation, & Perks\nSan Francisco Bay Area (on-site)\nBase salary: $125k-$150k per year, commensurate with experience\nMeaningful early-stage equity\nFull benefits including health, dental, vision, and 401(k) with 6% match\nDaily catered breakfast and lunch\nOffice in San Francisco, next to Oracle Park and the Caltrain\nFinal compensation is determined by experience, location, and level.\nWhy This Role\nEvery category-defining hardware company has a supply chain leader who made it possible to scale. Not because they had the fanciest ERP, but because they built the planning discipline, the CM relationships, and the systems that prevented shortages, excess inventory, and production delays that would have killed the ramp.\nIronsite is at that moment. We have the product, the customers, the funding, the manufacturing partnerships, and a hardware roadmap that scales into hundreds of thousands of units. What we need now is a supply chain leader who will build the planning and operations foundation that lets us get there without losing time, margin, or trust with the customers waiting on our hardware.\nIf you've spent your career building supply chains at hardware companies that scaled, and you're ready to do it again from the ground up in a company that's already earning the right to scale, we want to talk.\nCompensation\nThe base pay range for this role is $125,000 - $150,000 per year.","description_format":"text","description_chars":9163,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":5,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[{"language":"Vietnamese","level":"Advanced (C1)","optional":true}]},"benefits":["Equity"],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Supply Chain"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-10-14T12:30:37Z"}],"visa":[],"liveness":{"score":20,"band":"cold","label":"Long shot","p_open":1,"p_active":0.559,"p_room":0.35,"age_days":59,"expected_fill_days":27,"reasons":["conf:0","win:tail"],"computed_at":"2026-10-20T05:45:00Z"},"pay":{"stated_usd_annual":150000,"is_top_pay":true},"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/ironsite-supply-chain-manager","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/ironsite-supply-chain-manager.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-10-20T13:28:05Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","about":"Alion is a live layer of people, companies and AI agents: who they are, whether they are real and active right now, what they do and how to work with them, readable by people and by agents and paid per call.","catalog":"https://alion.io/catalog.json","usage":{"tier":"crawler_verified","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":14940,"day_limit":null,"remaining_today":null,"minute_limit":300,"resets_at":"2026-10-21T00:00:00Z"}},"offers":[{"id":"company.slices","title":"One company in depth, by slice","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002,"plus_per_slice":{"credits":0.05,"usd":0.005}},"unit":"per company, plus each slice with data","note":"the employer in depth","call":{"mcp_tool":"get_company","arguments":{"id":4409697},"rest":"https://alion.io/mcp/rest/get_company?id=4409697"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.slices&for=job%2Fironsite-supply-chain-manager"},{"id":"market.stats","title":"A market slice: pay, demand and time to fill","status":"live","price":{"credits":1,"usd":0.1},"unit":"per slice","note":"pay, demand and time to fill for this role and place","call":{"mcp_tool":"market_stats"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=market.stats&for=job%2Fironsite-supply-chain-manager"},{"id":"job.search","title":"Open jobs by role, technology, place, pay and visa","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002},"unit":"per posting in a list","note":"similar open postings","call":{"mcp_tool":"search_jobs"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=job.search&for=job%2Fironsite-supply-chain-manager"},{"id":"company.verify","title":"Is this company real and active right now","status":"pilot","price":null,"unit":"per company","request":{"url":"https://alion.io/catalog/request","method":"POST","body":"{\"offer\": \"company.verify\", \"for\": \"job/ironsite-supply-chain-manager\", \"note\": \"what you need it for\"}"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.verify&for=job%2Fironsite-supply-chain-manager"}]}
