As we continue to expand, we are looking for a qualified and detail-oriented Procurement Engineer to join our dynamic construction team.\nAbout the Role:\nWe are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer for MEP site supervision of a major hospitality construction project in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising, coordinating, and ensuring full compliance of all mechanical systems with Dubai Municipality (DM), Dubai Civil Defence (DCD), project specifications, and applicable international standards.\nThe role requires strong experience in hospitality developments, with particular emphasis on central domestic hot water (DHW) systems, authority approvals, inspections, and testing & commissioning requirements.\nProject Types:\nHospitality / Mixed-Use / High-Rise Developments\nResponsibility:\nSupervise all mechanical works on site in accordance with:\nApproved Dubai Municipality drawings\nDubai Civil Defence approved fire and life safety requirements\nProject specifications, authority conditions, and approved shop drawings\nExpertise with full compliance of DM Plumbing Code, DM Green Building Regulations, DCD Fire & Life Safety Code, and relevant BS / ASHRAE / NFPA standards.\nOversee execution of:\nExperience with Central Domestic Hot Water (DHW) generation, storage, circulation, and redundancy systems\nFamiliarity with HVAC chilled water and ventilation systems\nPlumbing, drainage, and water supply systems\nPumps, calorifiers, heat exchangers, expansion vessels, and associated controls\nVerify that project-specific hot water requirements (temperature control, circulation loops, standby capacity, hygiene and Legionella prevention measures) are implemented in line with DM and project requirements.\nReview and technically assess shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, ITPs, and commissioning procedures submission.\nCoordinate and attend Dubai Municipality and DCD inspections, addressing comments and ensuring timely compliance.\nEnsure that fire-related mechanical systems (smoke management, stair pressurization, smoke exhaust, kitchen exhaust systems) are executed strictly in accordance with DCD approvals.\nWitness testing, commissioning, flushing, pressure testing, balancing, and functional testing of mechanical systems and verify compliance prior to authority sign-off.\nIdentify non-conformances, issue NCRs, and ensure corrective actions are implemented without impact to authority approvals or project handover.\nCoordinate closely with Electrical, ELV, Architectural, Interior Design, and Structural teams to ensure clash-free and compliant execution.\nMonitor contractor performance, progress, and quality in line with approved construction programs.\nPrepare technical supervision reports, site observations, and authority compliance documentation\nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.\nMinimum 10 years of relevant experience in MEP supervision of construction projects in the UAE.\nAt least 2 successfully completed hospitality projects (hotel / serviced apartment / resort) involving central domestic hot water systems.\nProven experience working with a Consultancy managing multiple MEP subcontractors.\nStrong background in site supervision and execution compliance\nStrong background in hospitality, mixed-use, or high-rise projects in Dubai.\nThorough understanding of UAE authority regulations, construction practices, and inspection protocols.\nExperience on the consultant or PMC side is highly preferred.\nSolid understanding of MEP execution, site logistics, authority processes, and construction sequencing.\nSkills & Competencies\nStrong site leadership and MEP contractor management skills\nExcellent coordination and authority-interface capability\nStrong technical judgment and problem-solving skills\nClear written and verbal communication skills\nAbility to manage complex interfaces and resolve technical conflicts\nFamiliarity with FIDIC-based contracts and consultant supervision roles\nBenefits\n Private Health Insurance\n Performance Bonus\n Annual air ticket allowance \n Why Join IRTH Group?\nAt IRTH Group, we’re not just a company; we’re a family committed to building a brighter future together.
