The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring contractor and subcontractor compliance with approved structural drawings, specifications, project requirements, and applicable industry standards, while acting as a key quality representative throughout the project lifecycle.\nRequirements\nQuality Oversight & Site Supervision\nMonitor and inspect structural works on-site, including excavation, foundations, concrete works, reinforcement, structural steel, and related activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.\nReview and verify contractor Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, quality control procedures, and checklists related to structural works.\nWitness and verify field and laboratory testing activities, including concrete slump tests, compressive strength tests, reinforcement inspections, weld inspections, and other structural quality tests.\nConduct routine surveillance inspections and identify any non-conformities, deviations, or workmanship issues.\nDocumentation & Reporting\nReview QA/QC documentation submitted by contractors, including MIRs, WIRs, NCRs, test reports, inspection records, and as-built drawings.\nMaintain accurate quality records, inspection reports, and daily site observations related to structural activities.\nPrepare and submit quality status reports highlighting project compliance, quality concerns, and corrective actions.\nParticipate in QA/QC meetings, progress meetings, and site inspections with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders.\nCoordination & Compliance\nCoordinate with contractors, consultants, subcontractors, and the client project team to ensure compliance with project quality requirements.\nEnsure all structural works comply with approved designs, project specifications, local authority requirements, and relevant international standards.\nSupport the resolution of structural quality issues through technical reviews and coordination with the engineering team.\nVerify compliance with applicable codes and standards such as ACI, ASTM, BS, Eurocodes, and UAE regulations.\nCorrective & Preventive Actions\nReview and follow up on Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and ensure timely implementation of corrective and preventive actions.\nIdentify potential quality risks and proactively recommend mitigation measures to the Project Manager and QA/QC Manager.\nMonitor close-out of quality observations and ensure all corrective actions are effectively implemented.\nQualifications & Experience\nBachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.\nMinimum 6-10 years of relevant QA/QC experience in building construction projects, with at least 3-5 years focused on structural works.\nStrong experience in reinforced concrete structures, structural steel works, foundations, and associated construction activities.\nSound knowledge of structural inspection procedures, testing requirements, and quality control systems.\nFamiliarity with international construction standards and local UAE regulations.\nKnowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems is preferred.\nCertification such as CSWIP, BGAS, Lead Auditor, or other QA/QC-related qualifications will be an added advantage.\nExcellent technical reporting, communication, and coordination skills.\nStrong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and commitment to quality excellence.\nBenefits\n Private Health Insurance\n Performance Bonus\n Annual air ticket allowance \n Why Join IRTH Group?\nAt IRTH Group, we’re not just a company; we’re a family committed to building a brighter future together.
