Our highly successful team of resource professionals provide environmental planning, permitting, utility vegetation management (UVM) software, sustainability services and compliance services for a variety of clients.\nJOB SUMMARY: The Environmental Compliance Inspector is responsible for providing environmental inspection and monitoring during the construction of utility-scale electrical transmission projects and associated substations in Nevada. sciences or related field or equivalent work experience (ie. biology, ecology, archeology or paleontology)\nAbility to work long hours in potentially extreme weather conditions\nCompetence using global positioning system (GPS) units, maps, iPads, and submeter accuracy devices\nAbility to operate four-wheel drive vehicles on rough terrain\nField experience and comfortability working on construction projects and around heavy equipment\nAbility to work well individually or in a team setting\nStrong writing skills and experience with Microsoft Office Suite products utilizing the latest operating system\nClear communicator, highly organized, motivated, thorough, accurate, and dependable\nAbility and willingness to relocate to the project location\nAbility to read, write and speak English sufficient to perform job duties and to interact and communicate with employees and vendors\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:\nExperience with one or more of the following:Biological resources (specifically avian surveys, raptor identification, and/or botanical surveys)\nSoils\nImplementing and/or monitoring erosion and sediment controls including preparation and maintenance of SWPPPs.\n\nRestoration and reclamation processes\n\nExperience performing environmental inspections on large-scale utility construction projects\nExperience working in Idaho, Oregon, Nevada, Utah,
