You will inspect printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs), perform electrical testing, operate advanced manufacturing equipment, verify conformal coating quality, and support final assembly and product release activities. \nThis role is critical to maintaining product quality, manufacturing reliability, and customer satisfaction. You will work closely with Production, Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, and Test Engineering teams to ensure products meet all workmanship, functional, and traceability requirements before release. \nYour Role in Our Space Mission: \nPerform visual inspection of PCBAs according to applicable IPC standards and company workmanship requirements\nVerify solder joint quality, component placement, polarity, labeling, and overall assembly compliance.\nInspect conformal coating, underfill, and dispensing applications for coverage, defects, contamination, and workmanship acceptance criteria.\nOperate selective coating, dispensing, and curing equipment according to approved manufacturing procedures.\nOperate flying probe and functional test equipment and execute approved test programs.\nReview test results, identify failures, and support basic troubleshooting activities.\nPerform firmware programming, flashing, and configuration of electronic assemblies and finished products.\nExecute burn-in and functional test procedures according to approved manufacturing and test documentation.\nIntegrate electronic assemblies into mechanical housings and perform basic electro-mechanical assembly operations.\nDocument and report non-conformances, workmanship defects, and quality concerns.\nEnsure proper handling of ESD-sensitive components and assemblies.\nMaintain accurate production records, traceability documentation, and test reports.\nSupport new product introduction (NPI) and continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality and efficiency. \nQualification Checklist \nCompleted vocational training as Electronics Technician, Mechatronics Technician, or equivalent qualification.\nExperience in electronics manufacturing, assembly, testing, inspection, or quality assurance environments.\nPractical knowledge of IPC-A-610 or equivalent workmanship standards.\nExperience inspecting PCBAs and electronic assemblies.\nExperience with functional testing, flying probe testing, or other electronic test methods is advantageous.\nFamiliarity with conformal coating, underfill, or dispensing processes is desirable.\nExperience performing firmware flashing and device configuration activities.\nBasic understanding of electronic schematics, assembly drawings, and manufacturing documentation.\nKnowledge of ESD protection requirements and safe handling practices.\nFamiliarity with traceability systems and production documentation.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality.\nGood English skills; German language skills are advantageous. \nAim high, deliver relentlessly, act with integrity, and keep the mission first.\nBenefits \nEmployee Participation Program: Share in our success through our virtual company share program\n30 days of vacation: Enjoy the days off to relax and recharge \nCompany pension plan: Secure your future with our company pension plan, featuring a 20% employer contribution after the probation period\nSubsidised lunch: Stay energised with delicious, subsidised lunches every day\nFlexible mobility budget: Travel your way with a choice between a fully financed Deutschlandticket, JobRad bicycle leasing, FINN JobAuto, or a fuel allowance\nRental clothing with laundry service: Enjoy hassle-free workwear with our convenient rental clothing and laundry service \n Sport Clubs membership: Stay fit with our sponsored sports club memberships (EGYM Wellpass)\nIndividual learning allowance: Grow your skills with an individual learning budget granted after the probation period\nChildcare allowance: Receive a childcare allowance for your non-school-age children\nAnd Much More!
