The successful candidate will have the expertise to independently manage servers, networks, endpoints, security controls, backups and user access while supporting ISE’s cybersecurity and regulatory requirements.\nKey Responsibilities\nProvide technical support for hardware, software, network, and access-related issues.\nAdminister and maintain network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, VPNs, and endpoints.\nAdminister Windows and Linux server environments, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and user access.\nMonitor and maintain physical and virtual servers, including patching, backups, and disaster recovery.\nSupport cloud and hybrid infrastructure, including identity, access, and connectivity.\nMaintain cybersecurity controls, including endpoint protection, access controls, system hardening, and vulnerability remediation.\nSupport IT infrastructure requirements for ongoing and upcoming projects.\nSupport compliance with security and regulatory requirements, including Controlled Goods, NATO Secret, ISO 9001, and ISO 27001.\nMaintain technical documentation for system configurations, procedures, and changes.\nSupport IT audits and periodic reviews of user access, system permissions, and authorized devices.\nQualifications\n3-5 years of experience in a Systems Administrator or similar IT infrastructure role.\nCollege diploma or university degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.\nStrong knowledge of server hardware, virtualization, backup, and disaster recovery technologies.\nHands-on experience administering Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and Group Policy.\nExperience working with Linux environments; Linux administration experience is considered an asset.\nKnowledge of cybersecurity best practices, security controls, and compliance frameworks.\nExperience supporting cloud platforms and hybrid IT environments.\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently under broad technical guidance.\nSecurity Requirements\nAll candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain Canadian Controlled Goods and Canadian Government Security clearances.\nAbout Us\nFor over 50 years, International Submarine Engineering (ISE) has been a world leader in the production of manned and unmanned underwater vehicles.\nISE offers a workplace where you will have an opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge technology from concept to delivery.
