This is an exciting opportunity to apply your engineering knowledge, develop technical skills using industry-standard tools such as SolidWorks, and gain valuable experience across the full product development lifecycle in a collaborative and innovative environment.\nResponsibilities\nUse a variety of tools (including Solidworks) to generate workable solutions to technical problems that impact GTI products and processes. \nSupport assembly and testing of mechanical systems. \nGenerate test plans and conduct system tests, document results, and draw conclusions for products and workflow improvement. \nInvestigate off-the-shelf technologies, obtain specs, quotes, and communicate with vendors. \nGenerate detailed part drawings using good drafting standards and consideration of fabrication methods. \nDevelop details BOMs and assembly drawing to define product configuration and build considerations. \nCreate internal procedures for building and testing hardware systems.\nQualifications\nCurrently enrolled in a Mechanical Engineering degree program, in good academic standing. \nHighly motivated with the ability to work autonomously. \nExcellent inter-personal and communication skills. \nExperience with fabricated parts and assembly methods is an asset \nExperience using 3D CAD \nExcellent time management skills. \nOpenness to learning new technologies. \nAbility to solve problems in a creative and challenging environment. \nSecurity Requirements\nAll candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain Canadian Controlled Goods and Canadian Government Security clearances.\nAbout Us\nGeoSpectrum Technologies was founded in 1994 by friends who wanted to work together and build a collaborative workplace where employees take pride in contributing to cutting-edge technology from concept to delivery.
