You will work closely with the Procurement and Project teams to understand and support the specialized procurement requirements of services, parts and materials, while adhering to project timelines, technical, and regulatory requirements. The procurement specialist will take lead on establishing data modelling, analysis, and reporting on supplier and Procurement KPI’s, leading to data-driven decisions to successfully meet Department business objectives for efficient acquisition of goods and services.\nResponsibilities\nProcurement and Subcontract Administration:Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of procurement and subcontracting activities including amendments, correspondence, request for information, request for quote and purchase order issuance and traceability. Work with team members to provide coverage during peak periods of purchasing multiple and varied types of commodities.\nInternal Customer Interface:Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand and support procurement needs and requirements.\nExternal Stakeholders: Intermediate between the supplier community and internal stakeholders ensuring deliverable visibility and completion\nPerformance Monitoring:Analyse data for various procurement streams to proactively identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement recommendations.\nReporting:Prepare reports and dashboards on subcontracting activities, procurement, performance metrics, and risk assessments for management.
