Our mission is to forge industrial acceleration.\nThe role\nEvery part we make has to be inspected before it ships, and in precision manufacturing inspection is slow, skilled work. Our robotics team is building a computer vision inspection cell for the shop floor, and this role leads that work.\nYou will be one of the first engineers in the team, taking vision-based inspection from prototype to a system that runs in production and can be deployed at many sites.\nWhat you'll do\nDesign and build the vision inspection cell: cameras, optics, lighting, fixturing and software.\n\nDevelop computer vision and machine learning models to inspect machined parts.\n\nBuild the data pipeline behind them: capture, labelling, training and evaluation.\n\nValidate results against conventional measurement, and agree with the quality team where vision can be trusted.\n\nIntegrate the cell with MasonOS so results feed the factory's records.\n\nDeploy and maintain the system in production, designed for repeat deployment.\n\nWhat we're looking for\nStrong computer vision and machine learning engineering experience, with models deployed in the real world rather than only in research.\n\nProficiency in Python;
