Our mission is to forge industrial acceleration.\nThe role\nRun operations in Hamburg from order to delivery: dates, throughput and material. We have two machines today and seven by April, plus guild partner factories and suppliers we do not own. You decide which job sits on which machine, what goes outside and what we promise.\nMachining, engineering and quality are peer teams: you work with them, not over them. Your area is production control, goods in and goods out, and you report to the Head of Operations. A fit for someone who would rather own a plan than comment on it.\nWhat you'll own\nOn-time delivery and throughput: sequencing and loading every machine, planned in MasonOS.\n\nSetting delivery dates and holding them, including quick-turn work: quote in 12 hours, deliver in 3 weeks.\n\nGoods in, goods out and material flow, from bar stock and blanks to shipped parts.\n\nRouting work to guild partner factories and qualified suppliers, and holding them to our standard.\n\nWeekly reporting on cycle times, utilisation, scrap and on-time delivery, and fixing what it shows.\n\nWhat we're looking for\nOperational leadership in production, at pace, with long lead times and small batches.\n\nScheduling and capacity planning you have done yourself, not delegated.\n\nExperience managing suppliers and subcontractors, including escalation.\n\nYou think in systems: capacity, constraints, sequence and throughput.\n\nFluent German and confident English: the shop floor runs in German, the group in English.\n\nNice to have\nMachining or another cutting process.\n\nEN 9100 or ISO 9001.\n\nAerospace, defence or energy.\n\nStanding up a new line or a second site.\n\nERP or MES, lean or theory of constraints.\n\nWhy Isembard\nOwn the plan for a factory that is scaling fast.\n\nWork on mission-critical aerospace and defence components.\n\nShape processes that our German sites will run on.\n\nCompetitive salary and equity.\n\nLocation: On-site at our Hamburg factory, on the shop floor every day.\nApplications in German or English are welcome.
