The Technical Account Manager is that person.\nYou will own a set of customer relationships, handle quoting and design-for-manufacture questions, and make sure parts arrive on time and to specification. We grow accounts by being a reliable partner that communicates well, and this role is central to that.\nWhat you'll do\nOwn a set of customer accounts as their main point of contact.\n\nRun technical calls with customer engineers, review drawings for manufacturability and give practical DFM feedback.\n\nPrepare quotes with factory and CAM teams.\n\nTrack every active order, and raise schedule or quality risk before the customer has to ask.\n\nVisit customers on site to understand their projects and what they need on cost, quality and lead time.\n\nWork with Quality on nonconformance and corrective action.\n\nGrow your accounts alongside the wider commercial team.\n\nWhat we're looking for\nA mechanical engineering background or hands-on CNC machining experience.\n\nConfidence reading drawings and discussing tolerances, materials and lead times.\n\nClear communication, and composure when a date slips or a part is wrong.\n\nStrong organisation across several accounts and many open orders.\n\nWe are open to early-career engineers with the right technical grounding.\n\nNice to have\nAccount management, customer success or technical sales in manufacturing.\n\nAerospace or defence experience.\n\nCAM, quoting or estimating experience.\n\nWhy Isembard\nWork at the front line with customers in aerospace, defence and other critical industries.\n\nWork closely with machinists, CAM
