Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Appian Developer to design, develop, and deploy scalable enterprise applications using the Appian platform. This role requires strong low-code development expertise with Appian, front-end development experience with React, and experience integrating Appian with Salesforce and other enterprise systems. The developer will work across application development, system integrations, database design, and performance optimization to deliver secure, scalable, and maintainable enterprise solutions.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (May perform any or all of the following):

• Design, develop, and deploy enterprise Appian BPM applications, including process models, rules, interfaces, records, integrations, and data structures.
• Develop and maintain React/React.js user interfaces and reusable components that integrate with Appian, Salesforce, and other enterprise systems.
• Develop and maintain integrations between Appian and Salesforce using REST/SOAP APIs and other integration methods.
• Design and implement APIs and integration services to support secure and reliable data exchange between Appian, Salesforce, React-based applications, and other enterprise systems.
• Develop and configure Salesforce reports, dashboards, and data integrations to support business and application requirements.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, analysts, and development teams to translate business requirements into scalable Appian, React, and Salesforce solutions.
• Design and maintain application data structures and database integrations to support Appian and related enterprise applications.
• Optimize application, API, database, and integration performance while following development, security, and maintainability best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application, integration, API, and database issues across Appian, React, Salesforce, and connected systems.
• Document technical designs, application workflows, APIs, integrations, and configurations.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and demonstrations.
• Perform code reviews, follow development and deployment standards, and support application releases and DevOps processes.
• Mentor junior developers and promote knowledge sharing and development best practices across the team.

  Qualifications & Experience Required (5+ Years)

• Hands-on Appian development experience, including SAIL, process models, records, data types, expression rules, interfaces, and Appian plug-ins.
• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise Appian BPM/low-code applications, forms, and workflow automations.
• Hands-on React/React.js development experience, including building and maintaining reusable UI components and integrating front-end applications with REST APIs.
• Experience developing React-based user interfaces and integrating React applications or components with enterprise systems and APIs.
• Experience with Salesforce, including configuring reports and dashboards and working with Salesforce data management tools such as Data Loader and import wizards.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs.
• Experience developing and maintaining Appian integrations, including web services, REST APIs, Connected Systems, and enterprise application integrations.
• Experience integrating Appian with Salesforce and supporting data exchange and business processes across the platforms.
• Strong understanding of API-based integration concepts, including REST/SOAP services, authentication, data mapping, error handling, and troubleshooting.
• Demonstrated understanding of Appian low-code development concepts and best practices, including application design, performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Experience working with relational databases and SQL to support enterprise applications and integrations.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments and collaborating with business stakeholders, architects, analysts, QA, and other development teams.

  Preferred Certifications:

• Appian Certified Associate Developer or Appian Certified
• Senior DeveloperCloud platforms - Azure, AWS, or GCP
