You will work with colleagues across the business to understand client needs, analyse information and support practical solutions.\nYou will learn how to identify where pension scheme data can be improved, document business requirements and contribute to projects and client deliverables. You will also build your understanding of emerging digital technologies and how data supports better decisions.\nYou will be employed on a permanent basis from the start. Your responsibilities will grow as your skills, knowledge and confidence develop.\nWhat does the role entail?\nPrepare, check and analyse pension scheme data\n\nIdentify data-quality issues and support improvements\n\nHelp develop and deliver projects and client solutions\n\nGather, document and maintain clear business requirements\n\nWork with client-focused teams to understand objectives and deliver agreed outcomes\n\nCollaborate with colleagues across different teams and disciplines\n\nPresent findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences\n\nBuild knowledge of data tools, digital developments and the pensions sector\n\nWhat we’re looking for\nAn interest in data, technology, business and solving problems\n\nThe ability to analyse information carefully and explain your thinking\n\nThe ability to organise your work and manage competing priorities effectively\n\nClear written and spoken communication\n\nA willingness to learn new tools, methods and technical skills\n\nThe ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and clients\n\nHigh levels of care taken over the quality and accuracy of your work\n\nConstructive responses to feedback\n\nThose that stay curious and look for better ways to solve problems\n\nConsistently demonstrate respect, fairness and integrity\n\nWe will assess these behaviours in a structured and consistent way during the recruitment process.\nTraining and development\nYou will receive structured learning, practical experience and support from your team. This includes a graduate induction, role-specific training, opportunities to develop wider market knowledge, a buddy to help you settle in and support from a Performance Manager with your progress and development.\nSubject to fulfilling eligibility criteria, you will be supported in achieving a Bachelors’ Degree level external qualification in Data Analysis, through a Level 6 Data Scientist Apprenticeship.\nLength of programme\nYou will be employed on a permanent basis from the start of your graduate role.\nThe qualification in Data Analysis should be completed in three years.\nLocation and working pattern\nThis role is based in our Birmingham office.\nExpected office attendance, including the first few months is four days per week minimum in office and then two/three days a week in the office moving forwards.\nThe working pattern will reflect client, team and learning needs. Reasonable adjustments will be considered where appropriate.\nEntry requirements\nYou must have completed an undergraduate degree or higher-level qualification by 1 September 2027 and achieved a 2.1 or higher.
