In this position you will work on both the validation of subsystems and systems and act as the technical bridging between product design and production, ensuring that the product designs are optimized for high-reliability, low-risk and cost-effective manufacturing.\nYou will work closely with multidisciplinary teams - including engineering, production and quality - to identify and resolve manufacturability issues early in and during the product lifecycle. This role is crucial for ensuring flight hardware and ground support equipment meet space-grade manufacturing, material, and reliability standards, while being cost effective.\nKey Responsibilities of the AIT Technician\n\nDiligent Planning and Preparation of subsystem MAIT\nDetermine the nature, scope, and priority of activities required for the manufacturing, assembly, integration, and testing of (satellite) systems.\n\nEstimate required man-hours, lead times, and prepare weekly and daily planning, including work plans and material requirements.\n\nIdentify necessary parts, outsourced services, and request quotes for materials and services from third parties.\n\nOrder materials and services, and reserve materials at the technical warehouse.\n\nEnsure minimal disruption to production and optimal utilization of personnel and resources.\n\nCoordinate and execute Manufacturing, Assembly, Integration, and Testing activities\nRead and interpret engineering blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation to ensure accurate assembly and integration.\n\nIntegrate subsystems and products into the main system, ensuring compatibility and functional operation.\n\nCollaborate with engineers to ensure seamless integration of components across various system levels.\n\nConduct functional and performance testing of assemblies and integrated systems/products using specialized equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters, test benches).\n\nIdentify and troubleshoot issues during testing, document results, and work with engineers to resolve problems.\n\nBreathe Quality Assurance\nAdhere to quality control procedures to ensure the final product meets all performance, safety, and reliability standards.\n\nMaintain compliance with relevant industry standards (e.g., IPC-3, ECSS in aerospace) and safety protocols.\n\nEnsure all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and reflects the final system configuration.\n\nCollaborate and improve\nInteract with colleagues in a multidisciplinary work environment.\n\nReceive and provide constructive feedback.\n\nContribute to continuous improvement initiatives.\n\nRequirements\nRequirements:\n\nEducation and Experience\nVocational or higher education degree (MBO 3-4 to HBO) in the field of electronics.\n\n1-3 years of experience in a project environment.\n\nExperience with electronics.\n\nMindset\nEager to learn and develop new skills.\n\nWilling to travel occasionally.\n\nAbility to work precisely, meticulously, and with a strong eye for
