You will develop test software and/or use automated tests and test environments and support the integration and verification of satellite systems throughout the development process.\nYou will work hands-on with real hardware and software, investigate test failures and work closely with embedded software, electronics, systems engineers to identify root causes and implement solutions. You will also have the opportunity to improve and scale our automated testing and verification approach as our missions and products evolve.\nSpecific tasks and responsibilities include:\nIn this position, you typically:\nDesign, develop and maintain automated tests for embedded software and integrated satellite systems.\n\nDevelop test software, scripts, simulators and test infrastructure using Python, C/C++ and other appropriate tools.\n\nTest how embedded software, electronics, communication interfaces and ground systems work together.\n\nPerform software, integration and system-level testing on engineering models and flight hardware.\n\nDevelop and use Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) test environments where appropriate.\n\nAnalyse logs, telemetry, test results and system behaviour to identify and investigate failures.\n\nDebug failures and work with software, electronics and systems engineers to determine root causes and verify fixes.\n\nTranslate software and system requirements into test cases and verification procedures.\n\nDevelop and maintain regression tests as software and hardware evolve.\n\nPrepare test procedures and document test results, anomalies and verification evidence.\n\nContribute to improving and scaling our automated testing and verification approach.\n\nSupport system integration and verification activities throughout the development and test lifecycle of satellite missions.\n\nRequirements\nDegree in Computer Science, Embedded Systems, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or a related field.\n\n2+ years of relevant experience in embedded software, system testing or system integration.\n\nStrong programming skills in Python; experience with automated test frameworks such as pytest or Robot Framework.\n\nPractical experience with embedded systems and/or real hardware (e.g. embedded Linux or RTOS environments).\n\nExperience with communication interfaces such as CAN, UART, SPI, I2C or Ethernet.\n\nStrong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.\n\nGood understanding of software development, debugging and version control practices.\n\nAbility to work effectively with engineers from different disciplines.\n\nExcellent communication skills in English;
