You make sure that flight software, ground software and supporting tools are developed, verified and maintained according to applicable standards, internal processes and customer requirements. You work closely with software developers, system engineers, project managers and customers to implement and maintain a solid Software Product Assurance (SPA) approach within our projects. Thinking along, supporting, and taking responsibility are key parts of this role.\nRequirements\nBSc/MSc in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or another relevant technical field.\n\n3+ years of experience in a relevant position.\n\nExperience with software development.\n\nExperience in software quality assurance and structured development processes.\n\nExperience with C/C++, Python, or mission-critical embedded software.\n\nUnderstanding of configuration management, software lifecycle models and verification/validation concepts and applicable standards such as:\nECSS-Q-ST-80C Rev.2 - Software product assurance\n\nECSS-E-HB-40A - Software engineering handbook\n\nHigh accuracy and attention to detail: You like things to be correct and complete.\n\nStrong analytical skills: You can distinguish main issues from side issues and get to the core of a problem.\n\nNatural quality mindset: You are comfortable guarding standards and challenging inconsistencies.\n\nDecisive and proactive: You take initiative and act when the situation requires it.\n\nWhy should you join us?\nWe bring together a team of dedicated people from all over the world who are fun and pleasant to work with.
