Behind every spacecraft is a long chain of highly customized parts, materials, and components, and that's where you come in.\nAs Technical/Tactical Buyer, you'll translate procurement strategy into concrete results: smart make-or-buy decisions, solid supplier policies, and clean ordering processes. You'll own the full purchasing cycle - from an internal request landing on your desk all the way to accepting the delivered item - always balancing price, quality, and delivery reliability while building supplier relationships that last.\nYou'll sit at the heart of our Procurement team, right in the middle of operations. When colleagues across the company run into anything procurement-related, you're the one they turn to.\nSpecific tasks and responsibilities include:\nHandle procurement requests end-to-end - from internal request to acceptance of delivered items.\n\nSource materials, parts, and components against internal requirements.\n\nIdentify, evaluate, and select the right suppliers.\n\nManage relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.\n\nTrack inventory and delivery status.\n\nResolve complaints and non-conformances, and keep communication flowing between suppliers and internal teams.\n\nSupport internal teams with general procurement administration\n\nRequirements\nAn MBO/HBO-level degree in procurement or a related field.\n\nAt least 3 years of experience in a (technical) purchasing role for complex systems.\n\nSolid grasp of quality standards and documentation - think certificates of conformity and material certificates.\n\nExcellent, straightforward communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus).\n\nHigh energy, a hands-on mentality, and an open mind - a genuine team player.\n\nSharp eye for detail and strong administrative skills.\n\nTrue ownership: you take responsibility for your results and thrive as the \"spider in the web,\" connecting stakeholders and driving collaboration across functions","description_format":"text","description_chars":2089,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":3,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[{"language":"English","level":"All levels","optional":false}]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Space & Aerospace","Satellite Communications","Launch Services"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-10-25T15:52:55Z"}],"visa":[],"liveness":{"score":5,"band":"cold","label":"Long shot","p_open":1,"p_active":0.171,"p_room":0.28,"age_days":152,"expected_fill_days":23,"reasons":["conf:2","stale_co","ghost","win:tail","crowd:"],"computed_at":"2026-10-26T05:57:25Z"},"pay":{"stated_usd_annual":60372,"is_top_pay":false},"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/isispace-technicaltactical-buyer","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/isispace-technicaltactical-buyer.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-10-26T13:53:01Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","about":"Alion is a live layer of people, companies and AI agents: who they are, whether they are real and active right now, what they do and how to work with them, readable by people and by agents and paid per call.","catalog":"https://alion.io/catalog.json","usage":{"tier":"crawler_verified","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":19180,"day_limit":null,"remaining_today":null,"minute_limit":300,"resets_at":"2026-10-27T00:00:00Z"}},"offers":[{"id":"company.slices","title":"One company in depth, by slice","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002,"plus_per_slice":{"credits":0.05,"usd":0.005}},"unit":"per company, plus each slice with data","note":"the employer in depth","call":{"mcp_tool":"get_company","arguments":{"id":174147},"rest":"https://alion.io/mcp/rest/get_company?id=174147"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.slices&for=job%2Fisispace-technicaltactical-buyer"},{"id":"market.stats","title":"A market slice: pay, demand and time to fill","status":"live","price":{"credits":1,"usd":0.1},"unit":"per slice","note":"pay, demand and time to fill for this role and place","call":{"mcp_tool":"market_stats"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=market.stats&for=job%2Fisispace-technicaltactical-buyer"},{"id":"job.search","title":"Open jobs by role, technology, place, pay and visa","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002},"unit":"per posting in a list","note":"similar open postings","call":{"mcp_tool":"search_jobs"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=job.search&for=job%2Fisispace-technicaltactical-buyer"},{"id":"company.verify","title":"Is this company real and active right now","status":"pilot","price":null,"unit":"per company","request":{"url":"https://alion.io/catalog/request","method":"POST","body":"{\"offer\": \"company.verify\", \"for\": \"job/isispace-technicaltactical-buyer\", \"note\": \"what you need it for\"}"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.verify&for=job%2Fisispace-technicaltactical-buyer"}]}
