Backend Developer

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance backend services and APIs.
• Build and optimize distributed systems to handle large-scale workloads with reliability and efficiency.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver backend solutions.
• Manage and improve cloud infrastructure to support production environments.
• Ensure system scalability, availability, and performance through best engineering practices.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement solutions for system stability and reliability.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and continuously improve backend engineering standards.
• Monitor system performance and proactively identify areas for optimization.

Requirements:

• Strong backend engineering experience with hands-on expertise in building scalable applications and services.
• Prior experience working with at least one cloud platform such as GCP, Azure, Digital Ocean, or AWS.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, scalability, and reliability engineering.
• Experience with infrastructure management and operating production systems at scale.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs / backend architecture / microservices.
• Experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and performance optimization.
• Good problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Strong understanding of system design and backend best practices.
• Experience in Networking, databases, File system, AWS, Elasticsearch, Oracle cloud, Snowflake, databricks, and Database analytics.
