TUI Aria - adult only, modern & beautiful river ship, the largest in European fleet.\nThe Receptionist is responsible for the efficient operation of the Reception Desk, ensuring that passengers are\ntreated in a polite and friendly manner and that their questions and concerns are handled correctly.\nConditions:\nOne of the most reputable brands in European river cruising\nSeasonal work from spring to fall (8-10 months)\nDays off & paid vacation during contract\nFree food and shared accommodation on board\nCompetitive salary package\nMedical insurance provided during contract\nBeautiful European routes (you work and travel at the same time)\nModern, well-maintained river long ships\nMultinational team and positive working environment\nDuties and Responsibilities:\nDeliver professional, courteous, and consistent service aligned with company standards and procedures.\nPerform guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently.\nHandle guest complaints and special requests professionally, escalating to supervisors when necessary.\nCommunicate relevant information effectively within the team and across departments.\nMaintain full display of all items in the onboard shop according to company standards.\nVerify all people onboard (guests and crew) during departures and prevent unauthorized access.\nAssist the 1st Receptionist with preparations for upcoming cruises and closing procedures for currentcruises.\n\nProcess guest accounts, perform daily closings, and enter guest and crew information duringembarkation.\n\nCount and reconcile cash at each shift change.\nEnsure proper handling and maintenance of all equipment, devices, and machinery.\nMaintain and update the safety book according to instructions.\nRequirements:\nAge 18+ from EU and also all nationalities we work with\nSenior Receptionist experience or even better Front Desk Supervisor + Purser + Finance \nShip experience preferred\nNo visible tattoos that can not be covered by uniform.\nFor non-EU candidates, a German Visa D will be required.\nSafety certificates and US Visa are NOT needed.\nAdvanced level of English - spoken and written.
