This role oversees daily manufacturing activities to ensure production targets are consistently met while maintaining the highest standards of safety, product quality, productivity, cost efficiency, constructive feedback, and create an environment where team members can grow and succeed.\n\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nLead daily production activities to achieve established safety, quality, productivity, cost, and on-time shipment targets.\nMonitor production performance and key performance indicators (KPIs), identify gaps, and implement corrective actions to maintain operational goals.\nCommunicate shift priorities, production targets, and performance expectations through effective shift meetings (standups) and regular employee feedback.\nPromote a proactive safety culture by integrating safe work practices into all daily production activities.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing scrap and rework, minimizing downtime, improving throughput, and controlling manufacturing costs.\nLead, coach, and develop production employees through hands-on guidance, performance feedback, and consistent communication.\nMaintain accurate employee training, qualification, attendance, and performance records, as applicable.\nSupport effective shift handoffs to ensure continuity of operations, clear communication of outstanding issues, and alignment on production priorities.\n\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\nFive years of manufacturing experience, including at least one year in a supervisory role with direct responsibility for employees and departmental performance.\nExperience in PCB laminate, specialty materials, chemical processing, electronics materials, or another process-oriented manufacturing environment is highly desirable.\nDemonstrated success leading production teams and achieving safety, quality, productivity, cost, and delivery objectives.\nStrong leadership, coaching, and employee development skills, with the ability to motivate and engage employees at all organizational levels.\nProven ability to analyze manufacturing data, identify root causes, solve problems, and implement sustainable corrective actions.\nStrong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize competing demands and manage multiple projects simultaneously.\nEffective verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate production expectations, performance results, and operational issues clearly.\nSelf-motivated, adaptable, and results-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership and a commitment to high professional standards.\nExperience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 6S, root-cause analysis, SPC, or other Lean Methodologies.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills.\nAbility to read, interpret, and communicate work instructions, operating procedures, production reports, and other manufacturing documentation.\n\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT\nAbility to stand and walk for up to 12 hours per shift with frequent bending, reaching, grasping, and other physical movements required in a manufacturing environment.\nAbility to lift, push, or pull up to 50
