The PLC Control Engineer will help design and develop systems for use on the production line. Their designs will help increase production efficiency by evaluating the performance and proposing then implementing improvements.\n\nWHO WILL LOVE THIS JOB\nA problem solver, you ask the right questions to uncover the root cause and can quickly iterate to a final, well-thought-out result.\nA hands-on team player, you spend the majority of your time out on the production working with peers at all levels of the production team.\nAn experienced PLC Controller, you have 3-5 years of continuous work experience with PLC, preferably with Allen Bradley and Mitsubishi, and Maintenance. You are able to not just program but edit coding, troubleshoot and perform testing.\n\nTOP RESPONSIBILITIES\nDesigns, installs, optimizes, and adapts electronic control systems and instruments to automate and monitor industrial processes.\nDevelops technical designs, process diagrams, SCADA block diagrams, and control schematics to implement automation controls.\nConfigures systems using PLC and HMI techniques.\nModels, test, and measures output and data to analyze performance or quality issues and develop solutions.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS\nBS or higher degree in an engineering discipline-required; Controls or Mechanical Engineering- preferred\n3-5 years of recent continuous work experience with PLC\nExperience with Allen Bradley and Mitsubishi- required; Experience with Siemens- preferred\nExperience with Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles\nBackground in Maintenance- preferred\nExperience with evaluating and troubleshooting PLC in relation to the manufacturing processes and machinery. Able to work extend hours and weekends in the event\nprojects go beyond normal work hours.\n\nThis is a safety-sensitive role.
