This role also tracks copper foil inventory electronically.\n\nTOP RESPONSIBILITIES:\nRead and verify press plan is complete and clear.\nReview copper foil feeders are stocked with correct copper type, size and weight per the press plan.\nRun current inventory list to locate copper foils in stock for usage. Using a forklift, pull copper foils from stock using the FIFO method.\nInspect copper foil for usability. If copper is defective, place on hold per quality procedure.\nStage and load copper on the machine.\nPerform transactions in computer to change the location of the copper foil from stock to Specialty copper location.\nLog copper usage and scrap in batch sheets.\nBetween press loads, perform computer transactions to issue/produce copper usage.\nParticipate in weekly preventive maintenance.\nParticipate in inventory cycle counts.\nWork with engineering and quality technicians as needed.\nUse Lean/Six Sigma Methodologies to improve the process.\nEnsure that the materials processed conform to industry quality criteria.\nPerform Safety and Quality Audits as assigned.\nManage the orders being cut and packed to ensure customer due dates are being met.\nEffectively communicates with maintenance when equipment problems arise.\nEnsure full compliance with ISO, manufacturing visual and written procedures.\nMaintain a clean work area in accordance with established 6S criteria.\nAssist other operators to ensure timely shipment of product\nCross train in other areas.\nAll employees will be required to participate in training and continuous improvement events.\n\nWHO WILL LOVE THIS JOB\nAn efficient worker, you enjoy having multiple priorities at one time and multitasking without breaking a sweat.\nA great teammate, you can contribute and thrive in a fast-paced environment.\nA problem solver, you ask the right questions to uncover the root cause and can quickly iterate to a final, well-thought-out result.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nPrevious machine operating experience- required.\nPrevious experience with work instructions, work orders, and SAP- preferred\n\nWhat's In It For You?\nCompetitive Pay\nPersonal growth and advancement opportunities\nA culture where innovation, enthusiasm, and cooperation are encouraged.\n\nINTERNAL ELIGIBILITY\nCompletion of 90-day new hire/newly transferred probationary period\nNo active disciplinary notices for behavior or performance\nNo more than 3 attendance points\n\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:\nCandidates must have strong verbal and written communication skills.\nAble to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.\nProficiency in reading, writing, and verbal communication is essential.\n\nPHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS\nIn this role you maybe be required to stand up to 10 hours per shift and with frequent bending, reaching, and grasping.
