This position is ideal for an early-career engineer looking to gain hands-on experience with mechanical design, CAD, structural analysis, prototyping, and testing in an R&D environment.\nThe Junior Mechanical Engineer will work alongside experienced engineers while contributing to the development of ocean-based technologies and related hardware systems.\nKey Responsibilities\nAssist with the design and development of mechanical components and assemblies.\nSupport Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and other engineering analyses under guidance from senior engineers.\nCreate and update part drawings, assembly drawings, and engineering documentation using CAD software.\nAssist with prototype fabrication, assembly, testing, and troubleshooting.\nSupport material selection and manufacturing activities.\nParticipate in design reviews and collaborate with mechanical, electrical, software, and systems engineering teams.\nMaintain accurate engineering drawings and technical documentation.\nSupport field testing and system deployment activities as needed.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.\n0-2 years of professional experience;
