The role supports the Project Team by providing accurate cost tracking, variance analysis, and timely reporting, enabling informed decision-making and ensuring financial control throughout the Project lifecycle.\nManaging Activities\n1.Cost Planning & Budgeting\nSupport in developing and maintaining the Project Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS) aligned with the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).\nSupport the preparation of Project budgets, funding requests, and cost estimates across all phases (engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning).\nCoordinate with discipline leads and discipline managers to ensure cost plans reflect scope, schedule, and resource requirements.\nAssist in establishing baseline budgets and monitor changes throughout the Project lifecycle.\n2.Cost Monitoring & Performance Analysis\nTrack and report actual costs, commitments, and accruals against approved budgets.\nAnalyze cost variances and trends and recommend corrective actions to mitigate overruns.\nImplement and maintain Earned Value Management (EVM) metrics such as CPI (Cost Performance Index) and TCPI (To-Complete Performance Index).\nSupport Senior Cost Control Engineer in preparing and presenting monthly cost reports, forecasts, and executive summaries for Project leadership and stakeholders.\nInvoice & Payment Validation\nReview and validate EPCC Contractor and Subcontractor invoices against contractual terms, progress, and deliverables.\nCoordinate with Procurement, Finance, and Project Controls to ensure timely and accurate payment processing.\nMaintain auditable records of invoice approvals, payment status, and financial commitments.\n4.Reporting & Documentation\nPrepare cost input for Project Monthly Reports, Steering Committee presentations, and internal reviews.\nMaintain centralized and auditable records of cost data, forecasts, and historical trends.\nDocument and submit Lessons Learned related to cost control and financial management.\nEDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:\n· Minimum 15 years' experience in Fertilizer or Petrochemical Major Projects
