The role also involves deploying, managing, and administrating Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), with OpenShift knowledge considered a plus, and working with other Azure services to support cloud projects. It also focuses on automating deployments and operational processes using tools such as PowerShell, Terraform, and Ansible, supporting containerization, and implementing DevOps practices to enable scalable, efficient, and secure cloud solutions.\nWhat you’ll do:\nWork with Cloud Operation Engineers and Cloud Hosting Engineers to move workloads beyond lift-and-shift, contributing to cloud modernization projects.\n\nDeploy, manage, and administer containerized environments, including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), with OpenShift knowledge considered a plus.\n\nContainerize applications currently running on VMs and support migrations to Azure PaaS services where appropriate.\n\nWork with Linux systems, ensuring smooth operation, configuration, and troubleshooting of workloads in cloud environments.\n\nCollaborate across teams to implement best practices for scalability, reliability, security, and performance in Azure cloud projects.\n\nAutomate deployment and operational processes using PowerShell, Terraform, Ansible, and other tools.\n\nWho you’ll work with:\nYou will work closely with the Cloud Hosting Engineering Manager, Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE) Lead, Cloud Hosting Engineers, CloudOps Engineers, CloudOps Team Lead, and Security Architect.\n\nKey qualifications:\nHands-on experience with Azure cloud services, including IaaS, PaaS, and containerized environments like AKS, OpenShift knowledge is a plus.\n\nExperience contributing to on-premises to Azure migrations, modernization of workloads, and moving beyond lift-and-shift approaches.\n\nProficiency in automating deployments and operations using PowerShell, Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.\n\nStrong Linux administration skills for managing cloud workloads and containerized applications.\n\nExperience with containerization of applications, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines\n\nUnderstanding of Azure networking, security, and best practices for designing scalable, highly available cloud solutions.\n\nPersonal skills you excel:\nExcellent communication skills, able to clearly explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.\n\nCollaborative and team-oriented, thriving in cross-functional environments\n\nProactive and solution-driven, unafraid to explore different approaches and experiment with innovative ideas.\n\nStrong team player with a positive, can-do attitude, supporting others and driving projects forward.\n\nWhy ISS\nAt ISS, we are more than just a service provider of cleaning, food, workplace and technical services, we are a partner in our customers’ success.
