The ideal candidate will play an important role in managing, automating, and improving our cloud infrastructure, with a focus on function apps, storages, databricks and AI services like Microsoft Foundry on Azure. You will collaborate closely with the development and project teams from our Analytics, Data & AI area. These platforms have a global scale.\n\nWhat you’ll do:\nDesign, implement, and maintain scalable and secure infrastructure in Microsoft Azure, including Azure Resource Manager (ARM), Virtual Networks, Subnets, Private Endpoints, Private DNS, Azure Storage, Azure Key Vault, Azure Event Grid, Azure Monitor, Diagnostic Settings, and Azure Container Instances.\n\nBuild and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, including self‑hosted agents, artifact management, and automated pipeline execution.\n\nMonitor and improve system health and performance using Prometheus, Grafana, Check_MK, Azure Monitor, and logging frameworks.\n\nDefine, implement, and maintain security controls aligned with ISS standards (RBAC, managed identities, service principals, NSGs, secure service-to-service communication).\n\nOptimize infrastructure costs and performance using Azure Cost Management and related tooling.\n\nDevelop automation and integrations using Python scripts, REST APIs, and Azure SDKs.\n\nSupport our AI infrastructure: Azure AI Foundry, Azure AI services, Azure Machine Learning, Azure API management. \n\nTroubleshoot complex issues across infrastructure, networking, CI/CD, and application layers.\n\nParticipate in Agile/Scrum processes and contribute to ongoing improvements within the team.\n\nKey qualifications:\nMust have:\nProven experience as a DevOps Engineer or a similar role focused on cloud infrastructure.\n\nStrong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including architecture fundamentals (Subscriptions, Resource Groups, networking, compute, load balancers, security, monitoring).\n\nProficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or GitOps tooling.\n\nFamiliarity with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.\n\nEnglish proficiency, both written and spoken.\n\nNice have:\nExperience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).\n\nStrong scripting/automation skills (Python, Bash), including API integrations and Azure SDK usage.\n\nUnderstanding of cost, security, and performance optimization in Azure environments.\n\nHave a strong interest in understanding the Azure AI landscape and want to be part of delivering AI platforms for developers to use for building strong solution.\n\nExperience working in Agile/Scrum teams.\n\nPersonal skills:\nExcellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.\n\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a cross‑functional environment.\n\nStrong communication skills, including direct customer interaction experience.\n\nWhat ISS Offers You:\nWe focus on creating an environment where you can grow and perform at your best:\nPermanent contract.\n\nCompetitive compensation package based on your experience, including private health insurance.\n\n22 days of annual leave + 3 additional company days to recharge.\n\nFlexible working hours and a hybrid model that supports balance and collaboration.\n\nContinuous learning opportunities (technical and behavioural development) to support your growth.\n\nModern, well-equipped office in the heart of Porto.\n\nFree parking for your convenience.\n\nAccess to ISS Tech Communities to connect, learn and share knowledge.\n\nFree access to the company gym to support your wellbeing.\n\nSnacks and drinks available at the office.\n\nWhy ISS\nAt ISS, we are more than just a service provider of cleaning, food, workplace and technical services, we are a partner in our customers’ success.
