Healthcare Recruiter (ABA Therapy) - Maternity Leave Contract | EST Hrs | Remote

We are currently looking for an experienced Healthcare Recruiter to join our team and support a leading U.S.-based ABA Therapy Services provider.

This is a maternity leave contract position, with the possibility of becoming a permanent position based on business needs and performance.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, screening, interviewing, and supporting the recruitment of qualified healthcare professionals, with a strong focus on ABA Therapists, Behavior Technicians (BTs/RBTs), BCBAs, and other therapy professionals.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recruiter who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has strong people skills, and can quickly identify whether a candidate has the right experience, qualifications, communication style, and overall fit for a healthcare role.

About the Client

Our client is a growing U.S.-based provider of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy and autism support services, dedicated to supporting children and their families throughout their care journey.

They provide ABA therapy across in-home, daycare, and center-based settings, while also offering additional support services such as occupational and speech therapy, IEP support, caregiver training, referrals, and parent support.

Their approach is centered around providing practical, individualized care while supporting not only the child receiving therapy, but also the caregivers and families around them.

PLEASE NOTE:

• Contract Type: Maternity Leave Contract.
• Potential Permanent Opportunity: Possibility of becoming permanent based on business requirements and performance.
• Working Hours: Monday - Friday | 3:00 PM - 12:00 AM South African time - subject to daylight savings.
• Public Holidays: This role requires working on both South African and U.S. public holidays (compensation for SA public holidays in accordance with the BCEA).
• Internet Requirements: A fixed fibre line with a minimum speed of 25 Mbps (upload & download) and wired Ethernet capability is mandatory. Applicants without a fixed fibre line cannot be considered.
• Power Backup: Reliable backup required to manage load shedding or outages. Applicants without a power backup cannot be considered.
• Work Environment: Fully remote.

Job Responsibilities (not limited to):

• Coordinate and fill cases by matching available and suitable ABA Therapists, Behavior Technicians (BTs/RBTs) and BCBAs (Board Certified Behavior Analysts) with families.
• Sourcing, screening and interviewing of potential top talent for available cases.
• Communicate with clinicians and families to ensure appropriate coverage.
• Onboard clinicians and prepare them to begin providing services.
• Manage sensitive, nuanced customer service interactions with professionalism and care.
• Ensure all coordination is accurate, timely, and well-organized in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Industry Experience:

• ABA experience is a plus, but not essential.
• Previous experience as a Recruiter in the healthcare industry.
• Psychology background might also be advantageous.

Soft Skills (Essential):

• Excellent English communication and fluency.
• High emotional intelligence and strong intuition.
• Friendly, patient, and empathetic personality.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to move quickly when needed.
• Strong problem-solving and “puzzle-piece” matching ability.

Technical Skills:

• Good general computer literacy.
• Comfortable working across multiple systems and digital platforms.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
• Experience with ATS or recruitment platforms is advantageous.
• No advanced Excel skills required.
