environments.\nSupport developers and users with query design, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.\nMonitor database health, capacity, and performance, proactively identifying bottlenecks and recommending improvements.\nMaintain database availability, reliability, data integrity, security, backup, and recovery processes.\nWork closely with developers, researchers, and infrastructure teams to resolve operational issues and improve database services.\nAssist with the operation and optimization of large-scale, high-throughput database clusters and distributed data platforms.\nContribute to the planning, documentation, automation, and continuous improvement of database operations and procedures.\nRequirements\nWhat you’ll need to succeed:\n8+ years of experience in database engineering within large-scale, production-critical environments.\nStrong hands-on expertise in database infrastructure, automation, reliability, and performance optimization.\nDeep knowledge of database architecture, Linux systems, and system-level troubleshooting.\nProven experience with MySQL, Redis, and InfluxDB.\nWorking knowledge of ClickHouse, PostgreSQL, and Elasticsearch.\nStrong scripting or programming skills for infrastructure automation.\nExperience using AI agents or AI-assisted tools in complex technical environments.\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a relevant technical certification, or equivalent practical experience.\nA practical and analytical approach to problem-solving, with strong communication skills and a high level of ownership.\nAdvantage: Experience applying modern DevOps practices within complex
