Marketing & Admin Virtual Assistant

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Social Media Management: Manage Clark Construction’s business social media presence across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn. Draft, schedule, and publish content highlighting projects, employees, company milestones, community involvement, and news. Maintain a social media content calendar and proactively identify content opportunities.
• Marketing Content and Branding: Create and update marketing materials, project experience sheets, presentations, and basic graphics. Support proposals, qualifications packages, award submissions, and other marketing initiatives while maintaining consistent company branding and messaging across platforms.
• Project Photography and Assets: Review Procore for project photography; download, select, and organize images for future marketing use. Maintain an organized library of project photography and marketing assets.
• Website Management: Manage ongoing updates and improvements to Clark Construction’s WordPress website. Independently build and update project, resource, and informational pages, and prepare and publish weekly construction project updates with photos and project information.
• Website Maintenance: Maintain current company, employee, service, and project information. Review the website for outdated content, broken links, formatting issues, and navigation improvements.
• Onboarding and Recruiting Support: Assist with onboarding and offboarding documentation and checklists. Support recruiting administration, including job postings, applicant organization, and interview materials.
• General Administrative Support: Prepare and format Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Forms, and other business documents. Organize shared files, trackers, and administrative records; conduct online research, proofread communications, and compile requested information.
• Meetings, Events, and Task Management: Assist with company events, meetings, training materials, and internal presentations. Maintain task lists, communicate progress, follow up on outstanding assignments, and provide other Marketing, HR, and administrative support as assigned.

Requirements

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• Previous experience in marketing, social media management, administrative support or a related role.
• Demonstrated experience managing business Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn accounts.
• Strong WordPress expertise, including independently creating, editing, and maintaining pages.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication and proofreading skills.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage recurring work independently.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and learn new systems quickly.
• Proactive communication, reliable internet, and a professional remote work environment.
• Amenable to working full-time remote, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with availability to start the workday at 7:00 AM Pacific Time to align with the Washington-based team.
• Willing to spend any hours outside of scheduled training and onboarding during the first few weeks on self-guided training, reviewing company resources and systems, and building familiarity with the role, while maintaining a 40-hour workweek.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with Canva or similar graphic design tools is highly preferred.
• Experience with BambooHR and Procore is an advantage.
