Reporting to the AP Team Lead and receiving guidance from US based functional manager, you are expected to manage the day to day responsibilities of the accounting department while working in a remote location from the functional accounting team. We maintain a flexible schedule policy, but this position will mostly report night shift.\nResponsibilities:\nAssist with the preparation of monthly commission statements, collaborate with sales managers, and respond to queries from external sales representatives\nMonth-end closing of the inventory sub-ledger including preparation and posting of journal entries, reserves, accruals, and provisions, as appropriate\nManage SAP Concur\nMonitor and manage AP Inboxes\nProcess invoices for payment\nReconcile balance sheet accounts as assigned\nPerform ad-hoc research and analysis of information from financial and management reporting systems\nAssist with the design and testing of new functionality, modules, and fixes of the accounting software, as needed\nMaintain documentation of policies and procedures\nCross-train additional functions in the accounting department to support other team members\nAct as a backup for accounting team\nOther duties as necessary\nRequirements\n3+ years work experience in an accounting department especially in the accounts payable dept.\nCollege degree in Accounting\nAdvanced Excel skills required\nKnowledge of Oracle EBS and/or Hyperion, a plus\nExcellent written and oral communication skills; an active listener with lively tone of voice \nOutstanding customer service mindset and skills\nAdvanced MS Office skills especially EXCEL, WORD & POWERPOINT\nNice inter-personal skills with the ability to work effectively with groups and individuals\nGood professional skills with the ability to effectively work with individuals and groups at all levels of the organization;
