AI should support engineering work, but it must not replace technical understanding, critical thinking or accountability for the final solution.\nWhat You’ll DoDesign, develop and maintain full stack functionality for a SaaS ledger platform.\nBuild backend services, APIs and integrations using Node.js and TypeScript.\nDesign and optimize PostgreSQL database structures, queries and data flows.\nContribute to frontend development and integration with backend services.\nTake development tasks from initial requirements through implementation, testing, deployment and production support.\nBuild secure, scalable and maintainable solutions within a multi-tenant SaaS environment.\nWork with AWS services and cloud-native architecture.\nContribute to CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes and infrastructure improvements.\nUse AI development tools and coding agents to support code generation, testing, debugging, refactoring and documentation.\nCritically review, test and validate AI-generated code before it is introduced into the production codebase.\nIdentify areas where AI-assisted development and automation can improve delivery speed and engineering efficiency.\nReview existing code and development practices and recommend practical improvements.\nTroubleshoot complex technical and production issues independently.\nParticipate in architectural decisions, code reviews and technical planning.\nWork closely with developers, product stakeholders and senior leadership.\n\nCore RequirementsAdvanced practical expertise in AI-assisted software development, with a proven ability to use AI tools and coding agents as an integral part of the development workflow.\nStrong hands-on experience with tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot or similar, including their effective use for solution design, code generation, testing, debugging, refactoring, code review and technical documentation.\nProven experience providing AI tools with appropriate context and instructions, critically review their output, identify errors and security risks, and improve AI-generated code before it is introduced into production.\nStrong hands-on software engineering experience at Senior level.\nStrong practical experience with Node.js, TypeScript and PostgreSQL.\nExperience delivering software functionality from initial design through development, testing, deployment and production support.\nStrong understanding of software architecture, APIs, databases, security and scalability.\nExperience developing SaaS or multi-tenant systems.\nPractical experience with AWS and cloud-native development.\nExperience with CI/CD and modern software delivery practices.\nExperience with frontend development, preferably using React and TypeScript.\nPractical experience using AI development tools or coding agents, such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot or similar.\nProven experience working with existing codebases, making sound technical decisions and resolving complex technical problems independently.\nStrong sense of ownership and accountability for the quality of delivered solutions.\nGood written and spoken English.\nBased in Europe and able to provide services under a B2B arrangement.\n\nNice to HaveExperience with Kubernetes, including deployments, orchestration and scaling.\nExperience with event-driven or asynchronous architectures.\nExperience integrating LLMs or external AI APIs.\nExperience in fintech, payments, digital wallets, card issuing or ledger systems.\nUnderstanding of financial transaction processing and ledger principles.\nFamiliarity with KYC or KYB processes.\nAwareness of regulatory and security frameworks relevant to financial services, such as PSD2, DORA or PCI DSS.\n\nWhy Join Us?Fully remote work within an international and distributed team.\nOpportunity to contribute to the development of a new SaaS ledger platform.\nDirect involvement in architecture and technical decision-making.\nOpportunity to introduce practical AI-assisted development methods into the engineering process.\nClose cooperation with senior engineers, product stakeholders and company leadership.\nA working environment that values ownership, initiative and sound engineering judgment.\nIndicative annual B2B contract value: EUR 70,000 - 85,000 \n\n------------------------------------------We will contact you if you are invited for an interview.
