House is recruiting a QA Automation Engineer for a client in the automotive sector, based in Lisbon.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nDesign, write, and maintain automated tests across API, UI, integration, regression, and data layers using defined frameworks and standards;\nTranslate user stories and acceptance criteria into test cases and automated scenarios in partnership with developers and product owners;\nExtend shared automation frameworks with reusable components, utilities, fixtures, and test data builders;\nMigrate existing manual regression suites into automation, prioritizing high-risk and frequently executed flows;\nKeep test suites fast, stable, and trustworthy by investigating flaky tests and removing redundant coverage;\nApply AI tools (LLMs, GitHub Copilot) daily to generate test cases, test data, and automation code;\nPilot and roll out AI-driven testing techniques such as self-healing locators and AI-assisted failure triage;\nIntegrate automated suites into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, AWS, Azure), configure quality gates and dashboards;\nManage test environments and test data in collaboration with DevOps;\nTrack and report quality KPIs (automation coverage, pass rates, defect leakage, execution time);\nParticipate in incident management: triage, reproduce issues, validate fixes, and contribute to root-cause analysis;\nWork embedded in Agile/Scrum teams, pair with developers, and mentor junior QA engineers.\nPROFILE\n4+ years in QA or software testing, with at least 3 years writing test automation in production codebases;\nSolid coding skills in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Java;\nHands-on experience with automation frameworks (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, REST-assured or equivalent);\nStrong API testing skills (REST, JSON, authentication, contract and schema validation);\nAbility to plan and run manual testing (end-to-end and integration scenarios);\nExperience running automated tests in CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps);\nPractical use of AI tools (LLMs, Copilot) to speed up test design and automation code;\nGood command of Git, code reviews, and clean-code
