House is looking for a Quality Automation Engineer for a direct placement with an end client in the Transport & Logistics sector, located in Porto.\nMain Responsibilities\nDesign, build and maintain automated test suites for applications, with a focus on end-to-end and regression testing;\nDevelop test strategies together with developers, product owners and architects, prioritizing automation-first quality;\nCreate and execute manual and exploratory tests where they add value, especially for new features, edge cases and user journeys;\nIdentify, document and track defects, support root-cause analysis and work closely with development teams until resolution;\nDefine and maintain test plans, test cases and test data based on requirements and business processes;\nIntegrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to make quality checks part of the regular delivery flow;\nSupport teams in making software more testable, reliable and transparent;\nContribute to new quality standards, tools and ways of working in an international development environment;\nWork in an agile setup and collaborate closely with developers, product owners, architects and stakeholders.\nRequirements\nExperience in software testing, test automation or quality engineering;\nPractical knowledge of test automation tools (e.g. Playwright, Cypress or comparable frameworks);\nGood understanding of modern software development, ideally with technologies such as Angular, Java, Spring Boot and CI/CD practices;\nAnalytical thinking, root-cause orientation and a structured approach to software quality;\nAbility to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders;\nCuriosity, initiative and the willingness to constructively challenge existing
