We represent a Software Engineering division of the international company JobImpulse GmbH with more than 9.000 employees in 51 locations in 12 countries and we act as an intermediary between the IT software development department and highly qualified IT specialists on the job market.\n\nIT-Impulse with its offices in Seville (Spain) and Kosice (Slovakia) is the point of contact when it comes to IT Outsourcing and Nearshoring.\n\nAbout the Role\n\nWe are looking for a hands-on IT / Systems Technician to support the operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of advanced flight simulator systems.\n\nThis role combines IT, networking, software, computer hardware and electronics. You will help set up simulators, test systems, identify faults and replace defective components. You will also work closely with an international technical support team and the manufacturer in Spain.\n\nYou do not need extensive professional experience. We welcome motivated junior technicians with a solid technical background who are eager to learn and develop their skills.\n\nYour Responsibilities:\n\nSet up and commission flight simulator systems.\n\nStart up and shut down simulators and monitor their operation.\n\nPerform system checks and functional tests.\n\nTroubleshoot IT, network, software, hardware and electronic issues.\n\nInstall software updates and test the systems afterwards.\n\nRead and analyse software or system logs to identify technical errors.\n\nReplace defective hardware components and carry out minor repairs.\n\nPerform basic maintenance and technical checks.\n\nWork with the manufacturer in Spain to resolve complex technical issues.\n\nDocument faults, repairs and maintenance activities.\n\nFrequent travel to Diepholz, Germany.\n\nOur Requirements:\n\nCompleted technical or IT-related vocational training, for example as an IT Systems Electronics Technician, Electronics Technician, Network Technician, Information Electronics Technician or IT Specialist for System Integration with strong hardware knowledge.\n\nGood knowledge of IT systems and networking.\n\nBasic to good knowledge of electronics and electrical systems.\n\nStrong understanding of computer hardware and technical components.\n\nAbility to troubleshoot problems and replace hardware components.\n\nGood understanding of software and complex technical systems.\n\nAbility to read and understand code or technical logs to help identify software-related faults.\n\nGerman language skills at B2 level or higher.\n\nEnglish language skills at B2 level or higher.\n\nWillingness to work early and late shifts.\n\nWhat you get:\n\nLong-term and stable position, an employment contract
