Om ons team verder te versterken zijn we momenteel op zoek naar een AI Developer (m/v/x) om aan de slag te gaan bij onze klant in Brussel.\nDeze positie kan worden ingevuld met zowel vast contract (bediendestatuut) als freelance contract\nDuurtijd: Lange termijn\nRegio: Brussel\nFulltime\nAls AI Developer bouw je mee aan drie concrete, strategische AI-usecases binnen een Microsoft Azure-omgeving. Je vertaalt technische ontwerpen en businessvereisten naar werkende, robuuste en production-ready oplossingen. Je focus ligt nadrukkelijk op hands-on development, integratie, testing, deployment en monitoring. Je werkt nauw samen met business stakeholders, Business Automation Analysts, Product Owners, architecten en andere developers. Je draagt actief bij aan technische keuzes en ontwikkelstandaarden, en ondersteunt junior developers met praktische begeleiding, code reviews en kennisdeling.\nWat ga je doen?\nOntwerpen, ontwikkelen en implementeren van generatieve AI- en machine-learningoplossingen op Microsoft Azure\nHands-on ontwikkelen van drie prioritaire AI-usecases met Azure AI Services, Azure OpenAI en Python\nOntwikkelen van Python-services, REST API’s, integraties en intelligente automatiseringen\nOpzetten en optimaliseren van Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), vector search en enterprise knowledge retrieval\nInrichten van testing, evaluatie, monitoring, logging en observability voor kwaliteit, performantie en betrouwbaarheid\nAutomatiseren van builds en deployments via Git, Azure DevOps en CI/CD-pipelines\nVertalen van security-, privacy-, compliance- en governancevereisten naar technische controles en ontwikkelstandaarden\nMeewerken aan de overgang van proof of concept naar productie, met aandacht voor schaalbaarheid, onderhoudbaarheid en kostenefficiëntie\nOntwikkelen van herbruikbare componenten, referentie-implementaties en technische best practices\nOndersteunen van junior developers via pairing, code reviews, technische begeleiding en kennisdeling\n\nProfiel\nMinimaal 5 jaar relevante ervaring als software developer, AI engineer of solution engineer\nAantoonbare ervaring met het opzetten en industrialiseren van AI-oplossingen binnen een Microsoft Azure-omgeving\nSterke kennis van Python en ervaring met software-engineeringprincipes zoals clean code, testing en versiebeheer\nErvaring met Azure AI Services, Azure OpenAI en cloud-native integratiepatronen\nErvaring met REST API’s, identity & access management en integraties met enterprise
