You will lead vulnerability remediation, optimise security tooling, and help embed security frameworks that drive real risk reduction. If you are an engineer who loves solving complex problems and wants to see your work make a tangible difference, this role is for you.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nDesign, implement, and maintain cybersecurity controls across enterprise infrastructure and Azure cloud environments.\nOperate and optimise EDR, SIEM, and vulnerability management platforms (Qualys, Tenable, etc.).\nLead vulnerability remediation activities, including end-to-end patch lifecycle management.\nSupport network security architecture, including firewalls, segmentation, and secure connectivity.\nDevelop, maintain, and enhance security standards, policies, and operational playbooks.\nPartner with cross-functional teams, cloud engineers, and third-party suppliers to ensure secure design and configuration.\nSupport compliance with security frameworks including ISO 27001, NIST, and NIS2.\nWhat We’re Looking For:\nEssential Qualifications:\nA minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, infrastructure security, or systems administration within an enterprise setting.\nStrong hands-on experience with EDR and SIEM platforms.\nProven experience with vulnerability management tools (e.g., Qualys, Tenable) and patching processes.\nSolid understanding of networking, firewalls, segmentation, and Zero Trust principles.\nPractical knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Azure security controls.\nWorking knowledge of Active Directory, IAM, and PAM.\nExperience working with security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, or NIS2.\nAbility to develop and maintain security policies, standards, and operational documentation.\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of working independently in a fast-paced environment.\nSuperb communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical issues for non-technical stakeholders.\nHighly Preferred Qualifications:\nIncident response and alert triage experience.\nExposure to threat hunting, log analysis, or digital forensics.\nExperience supporting audits, security assessments, or regulatory reporting.\nRelevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CySA+, or Security+.\nOur Tech Stack & Environment:\nYou will be working with enterprise-grade security tools and modern cloud platforms:\nSecurity Tooling: EDR, SIEM, Qualys, Tenable\nCloud & Identity: Microsoft 365, Azure security controls, Active Directory, IAM, PAM\nNetwork: Firewalls, segmentation, secure connectivity\nFrameworks: ISO 27001, NIST, NIS2, Zero Trust\nCulture: Collaborative, autonomous, and focused on practical security outcomes rather than bureaucracy\nContract Details:\n Duration: 3 months initially (high likelihood of extension to 6+ months)\n Location: Dublin -
