As Theodore Roosevelt said, “The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena.” We’re here, standing beside our customers, ready to serve and succeed.\nITA is seeking a temporary Accountant to join the team at our Headquarters in Newport News, Virginia.\nResponsibilities\nThe Accountant will support core accounting functions including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), payroll processing, and financial data entry and reconciliations. This position reports to the Accounting Manager under the Chief Financial Officer.\nResponsibilities include:\nPerform Accounts Payable (AP) functions, including invoice processing, vendor communications, and payment tracking\nSupport Accounts Receivable (AR) activities, including invoicing, tracking outstanding balances, and assisting with collections efforts\nAssist with payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with applicable regulations\nEnter and maintain financial data in Deltek Costpoint, ensuring accuracy and completeness\nProvide administrative and analytical support to the Accounting team, including reporting, research, and compliance tracking\nSupport audits and financial reviews as needed\nPerform other duties as assigned\nQualifications\n1 - 3 years of proven accounting experience\nProficient in all MS Office Tools, with an ability to learn emerging technologies at a rapid pace\nCommunicates clearly and effectively with both internal and external stakeholders\nAbility to demonstrate high level of professionalism with a variety of management levels\nExcellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work\nAttention to detail and problem solving skills\nDemonstrates the ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements with professionalism and composure\nDesired Qualifications:\nAccounting experience within government contracting highly desired\nKnowledge of Deltek CostPoint \nBenefit and Compensation Transparency\nITA International proudly complies with all federal and state benefit and pay transparency laws.
