As Theodore Roosevelt said, “The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena.” We’re here, standing beside our customers, ready to serve and succeed.\nITA is seeking a Junior Contract Administrator to join the team supporting our Headquarters in Newport News, Virginia.\nResponsibilities\nThe Junior Contract Administrator will play a key role in supporting a wide range of contracting activities. This includes involvement in proposal development, administration, and close-out processes to ensure maximization of business results and adherence to corporate policy and government regulations.\nPrimary duties include but are not limited to:\nTrack contract actions, milestones, and reporting deadlines to support timely execution \nSupport the preparation, routing, and tracking of contract modifications and other related documents \nReview and analysis of Requests For Proposals (RFPs) \nAssist with invoice processing \nAs necessary, learn to review all types of government contract awards and prime contractor awards, including analyzing and evaluating terms and funding, reviewing for compliance with bid, negotiating provisions, and mitigating risk. \nSupport and perform external government personnel and teaming partners liaison activities \nCoordinate with internal stakeholders to gather, verify, and organize contract-related information \nLearn to support contracts and subcontracts reports and deliverable requirements to the customer when necessary \nAssist with contract close-out activities, as required \nLearn to monitor assigned subcontractor performance and funding; assist with the negotiation and coordination of subcontract modifications, and subcontract close-out activities, as required \nSupport and develop positive working relationships with contracting officers of the U.S. government, prime contractors, the DCMA and other related organizations \nAssist with special projects, as assigned \nQualifications\nBachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field. \n1 - 3 years’ experience \nExposure to and knowledge of professional business administration processes. \nExposure to and knowledge of the legal implications of contract compliance. \nSuperior time management skills and proven ability to multitask \nProficient in Microsoft Office, specifically MS Word, Excel. \nStrong Organizational skills and follow-through, internally and externally, to provide a positive customer or stakeholder experience \nExcellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills \nAbility to work in a team environment \nSelf-directed with the ability to work with a sense of urgency to complete tasks and meet deadlines \nAbility to handle confidential documents and information. \nDesired Qualifications:\nKnowledge of contractual requirements related to Department of Defense contracts \nContracts management exposure \nKnowledge of Deltek CostPoint \nProficiency in Power BI or data visualization tools. \nBenefit and Compensation Transparency\nITA International proudly complies with all federal and state benefit and pay transparency laws.
