As Theodore Roosevelt said, “The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena.” We’re here, standing beside our customers, ready to serve and succeed.\nITA is seeking a Junior Power Platform Developer to join the team in Fort Eustis, Virginia in a hybrid position.\nResponsibilities\nWe are seeking a motivated Junior Power Platform Developer to support the U.S. Army T2COM mission. The Junior Power Platform Developer will assist in the design, development, testing, deployment, documentation, and sustainment of applications and workflow automation using the Microsoft Power Platform.\nWorking under the guidance of senior developers, solutions architects, business analysts, and government stakeholders, the Junior Power Platform Developer will help transform business and mission requirements into secure, user-friendly, and maintainable technology solutions.\nThe position provides an opportunity to develop practical experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power BI, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365 while working within established software development, cybersecurity, governance, and application lifecycle management processes.\nKey Responsibilities\nAssist with the development, configuration, testing, deployment, and maintenance of Microsoft Power Platform solutions.\nDevelop and maintain basic Power Apps using established design patterns and technical standards.\nCreate and maintain Power Automate workflows for notifications, approvals, data updates, and routine business processes.\nAssist with configuration of Microsoft Dataverse tables, columns, relationships, forms, and views.\nDevelop and maintain basic Power BI reports and dashboards under the direction of senior technical personnel.\nConfigure and use standard Power Platform connectors for approved data sources and services.\nAssist with integration of Power Platform applications with SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Dataverse, and other approved systems.\nWork with senior developers and architects to implement approved technical designs and development standards.\nParticipate in requirements gathering, user interviews, demonstrations, and technical working sessions.\nConvert assigned requirements and user stories into application functionality under appropriate technical guidance.\nParticipate in Agile development activities, including sprint planning, stand-ups, demonstrations, and retrospectives.\nPerform unit testing and assist with integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.\nTroubleshoot application, workflow, data, and configuration issues and escalate complex issues as appropriate.\nAssist with deployment of Power Platform solutions to development, test, and production environments.\nFollow established Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) processes and procedures.\nMaintain application and technical documentation, including configuration information, user guides, test documentation, and workflow descriptions.\nAssist with data validation, data migration, and data quality activities.\nParticipate in peer reviews and technical reviews.\nFollow established cybersecurity, configuration management, change management, and software development procedures.\nAssist with maintaining application inventories and other Power Platform governance documentation.\nSupport production applications and assist with resolving user-reported issues.\nIdentify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks and improve existing business processes.\nAssist and support techincal training for Microsoft Power Platform capabilities and applications.\nAssist and support technical documentation.\nPerform other technical duties as assigned in support of T2COM mission requirements.\nQualifications\nAssociate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent technical experience.\n1- 3 years of experience in software development, application development, information technology, business systems, or a related technical field.\nFamiliarity with Microsoft Power Platform and demonstrated ability or willingness to develop hands-on skills with:Power Apps\nPower Automate\nDataverse\nPower BI\nSharePoint\nMicrosoft 365\n\nBasic understanding of application development and software development lifecycle concepts.\nBasic understanding of relational databases and data structures.\nFamiliarity with Microsoft Excel and/or other data management tools.\nAbility to troubleshoot basic technical issues and follow established procedures.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to software quality.\nAbility to work collaboratively with senior developers, architects, analysts, and government stakeholders.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to obtain and maintain the required security clearance.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nMicrosoft Power Platform Fundamentals (PL-900) certification.\nMicrosoft Power Platform Developer or Functional Consultant certification.\nExperience creating Power Apps or Power Automate solutions through academic, professional, internship, or personal projects.\nExperience with SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365.\nFamiliarity with SQL and relational databases.\nFamiliarity with REST APIs, JSON, and basic web services.\nFamiliarity with Azure or Microsoft cloud technologies.\nFamiliarity with Azure DevOps, Git, or other source-control technologies.\nBasic knowledge of Power BI data modeling and DAX.\nExperience supporting U.S. Army, DoD, or federal government programs.\nExperience working in a government cloud or other controlled IT environment.\nActive Secret security clearance.\nBenefit and Compensation Transparency\nITA International
