As Theodore Roosevelt said, “The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena.” We’re here, standing beside our customers, ready to serve and succeed.\nITA is seeking a Mid-Level Power Platform Developer to join the team in Fort Eustis, Virginia in a hybrid position.\nResponsibilities\nWe are seeking a motivated and technically capable Mid-Level Power Platform Developer to support the U.S. Army T2COM mission. The Mid-Level Power Platform Developer will design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain business applications and workflow automation using the Microsoft Power Platform.\nThe developer will work under the guidance of senior developers, solutions architects, and government stakeholders to translate functional requirements into secure, reliable, and user-friendly solutions. The position will have hands-on responsibility for developing Power Apps, Power Automate workflows, Co-Pilot Studio, Dataverse solutions, and Power BI reports, as well as integrating Power Platform capabilities with Microsoft 365, Azure, SharePoint, APIs, databases, and other approved enterprise systems.\nThe ideal candidate will have experience delivering solutions in a structured IT environment and understand the importance of security, documentation, testing, configuration management, and application lifecycle management within a federal or DoD environment.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDesign, develop, configure, test, deploy, and maintain Microsoft Power Platform solutions supporting Army T2COM mission requirements.\nBuild and maintain Power Automate workflows to automate business processes, approvals, notifications, data movement, and recurring activities.\nDevelop and maintain Power Apps using established design patterns and technical standards.\nConfigure and maintain Microsoft Dataverse tables, relationships, forms, views, business rules, and security roles.\nDevelop Power BI reports and dashboards that provide users and leadership with actionable operational and mission data.\nIntegrate Power Platform applications with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Dataverse, APIs, databases, and other approved enterprise systems.\nWork with senior developers and solutions architects to implement technical designs and established development patterns.\nParticipate in requirements gathering and analysis sessions with functional users and stakeholders.\nTranslate business requirements and user stories into technical tasks and working application functionality.\nParticipate in Agile development activities, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, demonstrations, and retrospectives.\nDevelop reusable components, workflows, formulas, and configuration patterns consistent with established development standards.\nConfigure Power Platform solutions and environments in accordance with program governance and security requirements.\nUse appropriate Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) practices, including solutions, environment separation, source control, and controlled deployments.\nPerform unit testing and support integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.\nTroubleshoot application, workflow, data, integration, and user-experience issues.\nAnalyze and resolve defects identified during development, testing, and production operations.\nSupport deployment of applications and updates into test and production environments.\nProvide technical support and troubleshooting for applications after deployment.\nDevelop and maintain technical and user documentation.\nParticipate in code and solution reviews with senior developers and architects.\nIdentify opportunities to improve application performance, usability, reliability, and maintainability.\nAssist with data migration, cleansing, validation, and integration activities.\nSupport application inventory, configuration management, and other governance activities.\nFollow established cybersecurity, configuration management, change management, and development procedures.\nMaintain awareness of new Power Platform capabilities and recommend appropriate improvements to existing solutions.\nAssist senior developers and architects with prototypes, proof-of-concept efforts, and modernization initiatives.\nSupport techincal training for Microsoft Power Platform capabilities and applications.\nProvide knowledge transfer and technical assistance to junior developers and other team members as appropriate.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.\n4+ years of hands-on Microsoft Power Platform development experience.\n2+ years of software development, application development, or related technical experience.\nDemonstrated experience developing solutions using:Power Apps\nPower Automate\nDataverse\nPower BI\nSharePoint Online\nMicrosoft 365\nCo-Pilot Studio - formerly known as Power Virtual Agent\n\nExperience creating Power Automate flows involving approvals, notifications, conditional logic, data manipulation, and integrations.\nExperience configuring Dataverse tables, relationships, forms, views, and security.\nExperience creating job aids, user documentation, and/or training aids.\nWorking knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP, and application integrations.\nFamiliarity with relational databases and SQL.\nUnderstanding of software development lifecycle concepts, testing methodologies, and change management.\nFamiliarity with ALM practices.\nAbility to troubleshoot technical problems and identify appropriate solutions.\nAbility to work effectively with senior technical personnel, functional users, and government stakeholders.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to work independently on assigned development tasks while knowing when to escalate technical issues.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nMicrosoft Power Platform Developer or related Microsoft certification.\nMicrosoft Power Platform Functional Consultant certification.\nExperience with Azure services and Microsoft Entra ID.\nExperience with Azure DevOps, GitLab, Power Platform Pipelines, or other CI/CD technologies.\nExperience developing custom connectors or consuming REST APIs.\nExperience with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Azure SQL, or API Management.\nExperience with advanced Power BI data modeling and DAX.\nExperience supporting U.S. Army, DoD, or other federal government programs.\nFamiliarity with RMF, NIST, DISA STIGs, Zero Trust, FISMA, or related federal cybersecurity requirements.\nExperience working in Azure Government or another government cloud environment.\nActive Secret security clearance.\nBenefit and Compensation Transparency\nITA International proudly complies with all federal and state benefit and pay transparency laws.
